I really enjoy going to this post office. The clerks are fun to talk to and even made me giggle a little when I was having a bad day. Highly recommend.

As a regular customer who visits the Abingdon Post Office several times a week, I felt compelled to write this review about an outstanding experience I had today.
I had made an accidental error on a package label (mistyping a character) and urgently needed assistance to correct it before processing. I called immediately and was connected with Supervisor Ms. Olivia.
From the moment she answered, I was impressed by her excellent customer service. Ms. Olivia was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She quickly and calmly transitioned into problem-solving mode, asking for the specific details of the package, including the approximate drop-off time (11:00 AM).
She went above and beyond by promptly locating the package, confirming it was the correct item, and making the requested change. Ms. Olivia demonstrated a perfect blend of efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. This is exactly how customers should be treated: with a great listening ear and a clear understanding of what it takes to resolve an issue quickly.
On a separate but equally positive note, I also want to give kudos to Patricia the clerk, who was amazing and friendly during my initial transaction with another clerk. 😀

I just need to give a HUGE thank you to my local facility!! I filed an inquiry online after my package looked like it was looping between regional and local nonstop and I received two calls within a day from employees who clearly go above and beyond to sort these issues out fast. Mail service is magic to me and the fact they were able to get back to me so promptly made my day. You guys rock 💚

The bald headed woman working here came out to wait on an elderly lady in front of me in line. After she was done with the elderly lady she walked away and ignored me. I had to wait another 5 minutes until the guy working there was done with his customer. Now I can see why this place is so poorly rated.

I wanted to return my package via kiosk. The shoot to put the package thru was stuck. I knocked on the door, twice. A man finally came to the door and told me I'm not supposed to knock and that I should just go inside. That's the point, I don't want to go inside, especially bc the majority of them are so rude. I never complain, but today I was angry. The man did clear the shoot, but it's ridiculous that they get annoyed so easily.

The team at the Abingdon Post Office on Emmorton Rd is amazing! Huge shoutout to Olivia for going out of her way to find and scan a package I forgot to check in late last night—absolute lifesaver! And June is hands down one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She’s always such a joy to work with whenever I stop in during regular hours. Their kindness and dedication don’t go unnoticed. Thank you both! 💙📦✨

They NEVER knock on the door EVER! I have dogs and if they ever knocked on the door they would bark and alart me. But they never knock. I've heard the truck pull up sometimes waiting for a knock to see if they'll even do their JOB by knocking on the door but they never did. It's a joke because there's times that I'm in my living room that's closest to my front door watching TV and not hearing the truck but later on I head outside to go somewhere and I'll see the peach looking paper on my window basically saying they came and no one answered and I would have to pick up my package/ mail at the post office. I'm obviously not the only one who feels this way because all these reviews show me that this post office is not that good at all to only average a 2.4 stars is CRAZY and shows that the people that work for this post office aren't doing their job. Oh and some of the older ladies that work at the post office are grumpy as hell! Their body language is horrible and it seems like they don't even want to be there. If that's the case then quit. It feels like the customers are a burden when I see how they treat people.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They couldn’t find an address on their computer and I went to the post office and kingsville and they were able to find the address. Very rude, not willing to work and explain anything.

I usually do not leave review BUT today I have to!!!! We had Very bad experience with Mrs. LORI today! Yes LORI, please remember this name and avoid this person! Very rude not only to us but we witnessed her rudeness to her coworker in front of the customers. We were there apply for passport for our 2weeks old baby. She started process and almost at the end of the processing she ask of we had an appt. Which we did I showed her printscreen on my phone and she said well I don't see it in my system you have to make another one and come next time!!!! WHAT??!!! After she made all copies, took photo etc, she denied us and kick us out! Very mean person doesn't deserve to work with people! Hope post office will make some consequences with this person!!!

One of the best post offices I've ever had to deal with. The staff is friendly! And there's a 24 hr kiosk for stamps and postage. I love the employees here. They need raises!
