Great service and expertise in soil science. Explain what your problem/intent is and they will tell you want to get. A+ deliver with the (1 yard) of SFG raise bed soil. Phil and James put it exactly where I needed it. They even dumped one of the three bins in a bulk bag for later use “make it easy for them though, can’t have these guys getting hurt over some dirt :-)”

We are starting a new raised bed garden, and just got a delivery of wood chips and the SFG mix. The product is excellent, and is just what we were looking for. Everything was delivered by Dominic, and he went way above and beyond, and then some!! He patiently waited for me to finishing prepping the area, he delivered the product exactly where I wanted it, and he took extra care not to damage the lawn. By far this is the best delivery I have received in many years, and I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the delivery. Thank you!

Called and spoke with Jordan to set up delivery. She knew exactly what we needed for our garden beds and was super helpful and friendly. The delivery was prompt and the driver helped bring some of the bags of mulch to our backyard. Good product and price. I’ll definitely recommend and use Veteran Compost in the future.

Nice enough folks. Helpful. However, the quality is not good and the price is very high for garden bed soil. Arbor mulch contains sticks as well - worst mulch I have seen. My plants turned light green when placed in this soil. I ran soil tests to uncover the issue.
Soil: PH 7.0 neutral
Nitrogen: none
Phosphorus: none
Potash: very low
Well I may take this soil to an extension office to find out if it has anything at all. I also want to note this is after adding their worm castings and bio charge. All together by end of April. Well no wonder my plants aren’t thriving. Never again.

My small businesses has used Veteran Compost for years. Our waste is minimal, but we're so happy that what compostable waste we do produce has a place to go to be properly processed. Our compost pick up driver, Phillip H., is reliable and friendly; we look forward to seeing him every week. He even puts our bin back where he knows we keep it; so thoughtful and kind! We also use Veteran Compost's excellent compost to feed our shop's garden.
