No customer service anymore. Most of check out lanes are self serve. Make sure to check items expiration. They are poor at removing expired items from shelves. I travel twice as far to visit Shoprite in Belair Air instead.

Store was redone and reorganized. Nice selection and variety of foods. Well done and shoppers seem to like this store.

Really great meat and seafood department. The deli has great choices buuuuuuut the service at the deli is HORRENDOUS.... No other word applies. Using the Kiosk took 20 minutes for 1/2 pound turkey and ham . And the workers do not complete the orders in sequence. It is a shame really. Everything else about the store is great

They put in self checkouts to cut the number of cashiers then the machines go down and the lines for checkout are in the double digits. Yes, I did write all this out while waiting in line.

Their new deli ordering system sucks, u put ur order in, then 10 minutes later ur order is called, u go to pick it up, what u order, they ran out or don't have any, waiting for vendor...what a waste of people time..no one tells you if they have any, or would you like to make a different purchase, no they tell you to go back into the kiosk and order...people back of counter could careless about what you want, plus this store is so unorganized, stuff that's on the signs hanging before each aisle is completely wrong, when you used to spend 1/2 hour shopping at this store has become an hour a half, to shop, just trying to find where they move stuff, from where it was, to someplace else, and there's no signs telling you where stuff at.,,Wagmens may be a little expensive and a drive, but the service and products are top notch, they have a better selection and everyone is helpful in letting you know where stuff at, they don't point, they take you there...shop rite because you think you're the only grocery store around here.. you better wake up and smell the coffee..,

Shoprite has a nice, fresh produce department, a good deli, a bakery, and a specialty case full of good meats and cheeses. You can find chicken and other meats in a variety of cuts, and I like their fresh fish counter, too. I always see employees restocking shelves, so I can usually find what I need. Associates are super friendly and helpful at checkout, too!

Customer service is a joke. He's drinking from a gallon water bottle and talking to another employee. I asked can I pay for one item here? He said no there is a sign. Ok continue drinking and chatting with a coworker and not give service and not help out so people can get home. Horrible customer service.

Stopped in here for some Bakery made doughnuts. For obvious covid reasons, all doughnuts were bundled in the plastic clam shells In an assorted fashion. All is well and good. However, upon tasting them after digging into them at home, they were stale. Avoid the doughnuts here.

This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see such a well organized pre-cut fresh food prep section.

Wednesday April 29th I was shopping @ festival of belair shoprite. During my visit I observed 2 employees wearing masks without their nose covered and one often putting mask at chin to either drink her (I believe it was an iced coffee) drink or to talk with other associates. This young girl was a shopper for an online customer where the other was an older lady that works in the cheese area. I felt that notifying customer service would be a waste since the cheese lady walked right past customer service with mask off her nose and the young girl was all through the store talking to other employees with nothing said to either one regarding improper mask coverage. I was applaud with this disrespect to customers and will not be returning to this store. In addition, the checkout belts are not being cleaned between orders even after asking due to something wet on the belt and was told that the person in front of me did not use that portion of the belt and to go ahead and put my items on. Employees need to understand this is the way life needs to be and if they are not going to bide by the guidelines then there need to be consequences. Management needs to get with the program and monitor their employees as well as customers that protocols are being followed and deal with those that are not. These rules are not optional or temporary.

If the store was based primarily on the deli, meat, seafood, and product departments alone, I would rate this place a 5 star store. Store employees provide excellent service, and always go above and beyond for the customer. Now, for the rest of the store. The place looks dark, is cluttered, not well organized. The prices are through the roof on some goods, where as others are priced competitively. The bakery needs and upgrade, and should be more organized that how it presents at the moment, with tables of goods taking up valuable space. Store coupons are still encouraged, however it is a waste of paper, one does not always remember to pick up a flier, and gets overcharged. Why not offer the special to everyone? Years ago, I would do my major shopping with cart loads of food and beverages. In the present, I only go for a maximum of 10 items. I'm thankful that there is a Walmart Supercenter, so I can do a majority of my shopping there. Shoprite, you need to revamp, offer better prices, and welcome the customer who spends their hard earned money there.
