I walked into my appointment with low expectations as I did not want to get my hopes up after a letdown at another dealership. The salesman that helped me, Patrice Sidney, was absolutely amazing and told me to trust the process and everything will work out. I was in out in 2 hours and approved for a newer vehicle with payments exactly where I said I wanted to stay! Amazing experience from Patrice and the owner that worked with me despite my history. I am incredibly grateful for their dedication to helping those in the community!

For any potential customer of Cook Chrysler Dodge Ram, this was my experience. Hope this helps any other individuals looking to spend their hard earned money at this dealership.
I was speaking to Max and their GM Sam via email. I am an out of state buyer. I emailed them my trade information on a next to new truck for a price on a 3500 Ram truck on their lot.
Max gave me an out the door price with my trade. Price was a little high and they are rigid on pricing, which is okay. Coming from out of state, I emailed Max and Sam today. Max advised Ram incentive had got worse however they would honor the price they had given me at 1625 hours. I then get an email at 1901 hours from Max advising with 800 more miles on my trade they are 4,000 dollars higher on their out the door price.
I questioned their GM, Sam Cook advising him his sales manager said he would honor a price then raised the price within three hours. Sam Cook who is the GM advised he made the decision and will not honor his own dealerships price.
One thing I can not stand is a dishonest person let alone a business. Highly frustrating dealing with this dealership.
This is just my experience with Cook Chrysler Dodge Ram. Some may have good experiences but I wanted to share to any potential customers that they are dishonest and deceptive. Hope this helps.

This was my first Mazda and I had a wonderful experience from first look to sealing the purchase. The whole team at the dealership were very professional, no pressure in buying, just very helpful. I want to especially thank my salesman Nicholas. He was very knowledgeable about the purchasing process, friendly and took care of all my questions and concerns. It is because of his personable approach that I will continue to give Cook Auto my business with maintenance and future car buying opportunities. Thanks for taking care of me Nicholas, stay true to your business ettiquiette and you will continue to recieve great reviews from your future customers.

I wasn't planning on buying a car today, but my man Trey at Cook took great care of me and I'm a proud owner of a 2021 Cadillac XT5!
Go see Trey at Cook, you won't be disappointed! 10/10

This was my third time buying a car from Cook and as usual they delivered flawlessly. I've bought cars from other dealerships in the area, and every time I find myself coming back to Cook because of a shady experience...(Specifically referring to the thieves at Jones Junction). At Cook, General Manager Sam cares about the customers needs and will do everything possible to make a good deal! Bruce is as hospitable and fun to work with as they come. Can't go wrong with the Cook guys! I am sure I will find my way back to them in the future.

I purchased a 2020 Nissan Maxima from Cooks Automotive, on 5/2023 from a sales representative named Dan who is no longer an employee. Before the purchase, I asked Dan whether there were mechanical issues or vehicle damage due to an accident. Dan provided me with a Carfax report showing no prior damage and a passed MD State inspection but stated that he could not be certain if any accident ever occurred. I trusted the Carfax report. I test-drove the vehicle and did a visual inspection and found the right passenger side had a big gap between the headlight and front bumper, also the side panel was misaligned. I also noticed the MAXIMA emblem was missing from the back of the vehicle. I notified Dan of my concerns and he advised me to bring the car back in on 6/7/23, to fix the issues.
I picked my car up on 6/21/23, to inspect the repairs and still noticed the passenger right side panel, bumper, and headlight were still a little gap & misaligned. I asked Dan why there was still a small space in between the bumper and headlight. Dan explained that the body shop tried to get it as close to the headlight, but was unable to secure it any closer. The gap was minimal and not noticeable so I proceeded with the purchase.
I took my car to a body shop for repairs, and the manager informed me that the vehicle had major collision damage to the right side of the vehicle. I explained to the shop that a CARFAX report was provided that showed no accidents. He advised that CARFAX reports are not guaranteed, esp. when accidents are not reported. I contacted the shop and spoke to Sam/Max and they told me it was not his problem and refused to help.
I have a vehicle with $11,000 worth of damage to the right side of the vehicle. If Cook's Auto made the repairs on 6/2023, when the bumper was allegedly removed they would have seen the excessive damage to the right side of the car. This shows that the repairs were not completed or they covered up the damage to get the sale. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and other agencies.
Consumers be aware of AUTO FRAUD. If you buy a vehicle from Cook's Auto have a mechanic or body shop outside do a complete vehicle inspection. I am not sure how my car passed the MD inspection, they must have a partnership with the inspection site.
Sam is very unprofessional and think twice before purchasing a vehicle from his dealership. Other dealerships would have taken accountability and tried to resolve the issue with the customer.

Let me start off by saying I had NO INTENTIONS on leaving with a new car. I got approved for the car that I wanted!!! Just couldn’t afford the Monthly payment. But let me tell you! The owner drove and did the appraisal on my prior vehicle. He told my salesman Patrice Sidney I WAS LEAVING IN A NEWER car! They truly cared about my safety! I was riding around in a bucket! But she got me where I needed to be. Patrice worked very hard , he was very caring and patient with me! Another Sales associate Trey B was also awesome!!! He helped to put me in my new work! Trey was patient, extremely friendly, welcoming and understanding! Both of these salesmen worked with me and got me into a new car! I am sooooo very thankful to the COOKS team! Thank so very much for taking care of me!

To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. Two parts to this poor review. Part 1 is the service department. Had my Ram in for warranty work. Was told it would take one day to replace the faulty rear window, on the day I made my appointment. Made sure the parts were in stock and showed for my appointment a week later. Was told on the day of the appointment that it would be at least 2 days and it ended up being 4. I allowed some extra wiggle room in there. We are due to leave for vacation and I allowed some time for "things happen." It was recommended to me wait to pick up on the fifth day due to chemicals/smell used to clean up the mold from the rear window leak. It's a known Ram issue that Chrysler's only solution is replace with exact window/frame that will leak again. Only the vehicle interior was to be detailed to clean the mold. Imagine my surprise to find the tires armor all'd like a 2 year old would do with a spray bottle. There was a reason I wanted nothing touched on the exterior. That message wasn't delivered to the detail dept. As far as the chemical smell. That doesn't exist. Lifted the floor mats and mold. I can assume at this point that none of the mold removing products were applied as I was told. There was a rather large brush mark on the rear fender. I picked the truck up after hours and the sales team were the only ones there to acknowledge the mark and it was supposedly sent to the service team. The service team did not contact me about taking care of the mark. I was offered to send it to the detail team that night, whom already let me down. I declined. Wasn't about to trust a potential paint correcting issue to anyone. Get the truck home and am looking to reinstall my under seat storage tray. The brackets that were added to attach the tray are missing. A phone call to locate the brackets was made and I guess there are no brackets. That is a cost I will NOT be bearing. So my father's day will be spent cleaning up mold, assessing what else wasn't completed and figuring out how to secure my storage tray so that we can go on vacation and not have 40 lbs worth of tools sliding around when the brakes are applied.
Part 2. This is for the sales team. Double and triple check your paperwork. This dealer loves to double charge for destination. It might not be against the law but it certainly is a shady practice. Buyer beware. So if your looking to spend your father's day weekend, undoing the work that was done in service, I highly recommend this service dept.
