Please don't ever bother to go there. Staff is so rude. And especially if you unfortunately purchase a clearance item they don't gonna return it. (Which they didn't mention anywhere that it's a final sale) secondly while returning the items Manager was extremely rude, non cooperative. And was so insulting that why I'm returning the items. Why didn't I think before purchasing them. Which was really insulting. Majority of stores return clearance item as well the regular sale. I never ever felt that much insult before while returning the items. It's was first time at toy¹1¹s r us. I'll never go there again nor suggest anyone else to purchase anything from them. I payed for my stuff . I didn't beg for or get them in charity. Staff should be have to polite with customers.

Friendly staff, not too much in the way of quality (wducational, incluwive etc) toys, lots of junk, but it's getting better year by year.

Had a cashier not give me a $10 off next purchase coupon even though I spent over $50. Just as I was about to leave I checked my receipt thinking the $10 off was on there, it wasn't. Turned around and quickly asked her if there was a mistake about the$10 off. Was ignored. Asked again she said " it's only if the 1 product is over $50 not for total" another employee quickly said no, it's total of $50 give her the card. Ridiculous and the attitude of that lady.. get another job if customer service isn't for you.

I have been on the phone for the last 10 mins waiting for someone to pick up the transfer, which no one has done yet. This is the 5th phonecall I've made today to all 3 stores. I physically went the Regent location and was told they only has displays models in Manitoba. Why do you display an item I cannot purchase???

Terrible customer service. Asked for assistance with something, they announced it on the intercom, then staff proceeded to avoid us like the plague waited for 15min still no service

Although TRU had shut down all their operations in the US, and I remember so many memories I got with the place, doing all my toys hunting, my only regret was not able to visit the big TRU in New York before everything closed.Yes, I really miss it, and now while visiting Canada I cannot pass on an opportunity to come here, just to relive it, my childhood toys from Power Rangers to TMNT thru out the 90s.Everything inside out still look and feel the same, from the entrance to the giraffe mascot, I was a bit skeptical because I walked the entire store but all I found was cars, dinosaurs and baby dolls; then something hit me, on the left corner is the big holy grail, all the collectibles from Neca, Dcs, Mattel, Hasbro, etc they had them all with just a little more careful display, empty boxes without any figures inside because you know thieves, I think that is quite smart, the thing I still don't like about TRU is their prices, it's more expensive than any other places like Target or Walmart, but they used to have a points program, just not apply to this anymore, since you can buy everything online and price match at Target for a better deal.Anyway I'm just glad TRU stood still against time, not often that you get to feel nostalgia in a long time. Well, Canada you did something right, you saved Toys R Us.

Lots of staff around but mostly interested in socializing instead of helping customers. I came to purchase a new car seat for my baby. I ended up getting a few other things just out of convenience because by no means are the prices anything to get excited about. When I wheeled up to checkout with my baby in the cart and had a ball, book, play doh and a tea set was asked if I wanted a bag for 5 cents. Of course I need a bag to carry my baby and all these things to my car. I strongly feel if I’m spending over $450 dollars you should just comp the bag. But whatever… bag almost didn’t make the walk to the van cause the handle broke. ?♀️ then I go to the back to pick up the car seat I purchased. Waited at door… this is 2 in the afternoon and hardly any customers. Lady was wanting my receipt for proof… so dig it out of my broken bag for her. While she was writing something down I picked up the car seat and was told to put it down because she had to open the unopened box to check that everything was in there!???I found my visit to toys r us annoying. I won’t be surprised when this place goes out of business.
