You have one of the most upbeat staff members you could possibly ask for in Anthony. I generally see him in the express check out and he is always so friendly and positive. He stopped doing what he was doing, to go and help a customer whose bag got stuck in her wheelchair wheel. Just an outstanding young man.

Not the largest Safeway by far but if you live in South Osborne, the place is a gift.. You can count on parking (try that at the main Osborne Village store!) and you are also steps from local businesses and the community centre. It's worth shopping there just to drop in after to Vera's Pizza, Parkline Coffee, or the venerable Oakwood Cafe. All just across the street.Selection at Safeway is good and a special nod to the strong produce section. I've noticed some of the checkout people have been there for years. A small thing but speaks to culture of the management.They ably manage to combine 'national chain' with 'local shopping'. Of course, you should shop here if you have the choice!

Super friendly staff. The management and team work hard to keep the store clean and shelves full. It's a boutique Safeway, so not the biggest store, but it will have what you need ?

this is the best grocery store of all time. they have limited selection but i got the wonka sparkling soda and it was so good. also the staff is the nicest staff OF ALL TIME and i love all of them and it's just good vibes all around. i also got free popcorn on halloween and i cried i was so happy. 12/10 reccommend!
