Staff are amazing here. I have always lived close to this store and always loved the staff. Never had an issue finding things, because there was always help from employees. Today was different. It was not a staff member and it had been a special shopper (looks for people stealing). I am a very respectful looking person as many would and could say. I was even in my fkin pjs because I’m so comfortable with this store. There wasn’t a moment in that store I didn’t feel like his eyes were right on me. I had stood up after looking down at the product on FaceTime with my mother trying to make sure it was the right one. Got fully up and his face felt like it was right in mine I was 2 feet from the end of the isle and he was right at the end staring right down at me. Of course right when I am up he turns around and walks away looking like he’s shopping but an innocent human being should never feel like they know eyes are right on them. I have been in many stores before and realized there was a special shopper but never in my life have I felt like this. I get it was late and there was not really much people but that has been the case before and i didn’t have this happen. Safeway please do better because I am switching stores now and wish I didn’t have too because of this.

I went later in the day and it was a quiet pleasant shopping experience.*** the renos make the store look even cleaner. Good shopping experience over all.

Two things bothered me visiting that recently renovated store. First ,no option of check out with actual human cashier. Self check out only. All cashiers were closed. Second, over prices veggies/fruits. Plus found a bunch of rotten fruits. Raspberries with mold and boxed salad.Otherwise, convenient location, nice staff, fresh bakery, nice parking with lots of space.

Most disrespectful employee I have ever seen especially a girl maybe named as manpreet not sure. Don’t even say hello and just ignored and kinda push the bag in front of me that I ordered. It never happened for the first time but this is too much, these typical ladies may be don’t deserve customer services jobs.
