Had a rude encounter with the older woman during lunch while she was restocking the hot foods in the buffet. We were getting our food, at approx 12:15pm. she comes around the corner with her cart and says "I need to get in here and if you are wanting wings we aren't going to have any". We didn't even ask or talk to her at all. She couldn't even say excuse me. So then we go to the other side to grab a few more items. She apologized and said that she's been getting asked about the food and I said that I didn't even ask her anything and that she was very aggressive and that she shouldn't make assumptions about people. By reading the other reviews, there appears to be a training gap when it comes to customer service and how to treat/speak to people. We even drove out of our way to come to this specific location for lunch because we like the buffet options.
Maybe she thinks she can speak to the kids like that that come in here for lunch, but to speak to an adult who didnt even say anything to her! Im assuming shes expecting this to be a review, and good. She ruined my day, so thanks.

Safeway needs to fix their self-checkout. For whatever reason out of all the grocery stores, the Safeway self checkout is hands down the worst ever!
The regular checkout clerks if there is even more than a couple working at any given time they move very slow leading me to using the self checkout.
For the insane prices Safeway charges, checkouts should be more convenient.

Poorly designed milk shelves. The cartons don't roll forward, leaving the milk out of reach.

I used to like this location. But then they stopped staffing tills in the evening.
I will take my business somewhere that values customers enough to have an employee as the face of their company.

I'm not very impressed with how closing staff created such a dangerous situation for customers, and when I fell on the floor, I was pretty much laughed at.
I needed emergency dog food because I didn't realize I was out. I made it in the hour before close. It was only me and another person at the self check out. I turned to leave (I'm sluggish, not quick at all) and completely slipped and fell on the floor. I live with chronic pain from AS. The floor was saturated in water, not nicely mopped, but there were puddles. I was very slow to get up because my knee hit the floor hard, and some skin was scraped off a decent section. Eventually, a young male staff member comes around the corner. No, "Are you okay", "what happened?", "can I help you up" Nothing. I said you need to have a wet floor sign here. He said, half laughing at me, someone went to get one, and they will be back when they are back. My knee is still throbbing, I'm feeling stiff already, and my pants are soaked in this gross smelling vinegar solution. (what it smelt like to me anyway)
For a normal person, a slip on a wet floor might be minor, but for someone with chronic pain or a disability this kind of incident can set them back in recovery or cause limitations and/or extra pain to the rest of their day/week and even month. Sure, argue that if stores are dangerous for me "stay home", but it's still the stores responsibility to put out appropriate signage so that everyone can stay safe!
At the very LEAST, the male should have been standing in front of the wet spot warning people BEFORE they walked towards it until the sign got there. Leaving the area with no sign and no supervision is what made me so mad, never mind the smirking/grin at me part....
Such poor customer service.

Just popped in for floral. Found the arrangement right away. The bags for flowers were right next to the counter. Not busy so in and out under 15 mins

Excellent customer service. Knowledeable and pleasant clerk. Clean. Stocked. Pricing could improve. Especially on items like 4 liter Spring Water. $2.49 at Safeway, $1.87 at Wally, and $2.29 @ Super Store.

Safeway is prioritizing profits over the convenience and safety of its shoppers. They have created a major fire hazard by locking all of the entrances/exits except for 1 single door. Hope they get fined as it is an actual safety hazard; Imagine if there was a fire and all the exits are locked except for the one. Good job Safeway.

Very pleasant place to shop but check the prices for sales. Self checkout is preferred as the lines in the regular checkout can move excruciatingly slow at times.

Starbucks staff do not know the drinks. Even if you explain it to them, they get it wrong.
