I went here after having a really painful surgery to get painkillers I was prescribed, I went with my boyfriend so he heard them say this too but they filled my prescription and the man at the counter told me there were no refills after that, I confirmed because I thought I saw one refill after the initial first bottle. He said no refills, nothing after this. So I went home and first week the pills I got were gone and I was still in a horrible amount of pain, so I taxied to the dr to ask if I could get one more refill, she told me I had another refill that was not filled yet. So I went all the way back to this pharmacy and asked what the hell because I wasted money on a taxi and got lied to. They filled my second prescription and said it was free of charge and apologized. I’m wondering if they actually charged me for both the first time and were just counting on me not coming back and were going to take my prescription for themselves, or if they just judged me and thought I was an addict or something? I didn’t even finish the second refill and it was definitely needed for the surgery I had. Really sketchy and just awful to not get the medication you need because you’re being judged or scammed.

Best pharmacy I’ve tried, they always pick up the phone and even have an app to enter prescriptions if you go regularly. They even deliver prescriptions for free which is super appreciated if you have odd working hours. They were also super helpful when I told them I was going to be out of insurance for a few months and stocked me up on my regular prescriptions, which was a lifesaver ?Also have a weirdly diverse selection of stuff, like somehow I found deep-pocket bedsheets here for a reasonable price when I couldn’t find them at Walmart lol.

Good pharmacy, the guys at the pharmacy are nice and helpful with estimates on wait times for my prescriptions etc, however whenever the woman answers the phone at the pharmacy she is pretty rude and seems like she doesn’t care for her job much. She doesn’t give any wait times or anything like that, just asks for RX number and then pretty much just says bye. Pretty unpleasant dealing with her.

Good range of stores from a Dollarama to a food store and a Dal's Restaurant. Transcona Medical has been located hete for over 45 years with a good selection of doctors and specialties. Banquet Hall in the lpwer level.
