Customer service is terrible. Very negative experience when I called to ask if they have access to the cameras in one of their lots.. don't bother calling these people if you need help with anything!

If you want to buy a house in Winnipeg, For the love of your peace of mind, Do not buy from Qualico/ Broadview homes!!!I want to scream this as loud as I can.Do not buy from Qualico homes!!!Again, do not buy from Qualico/ Broadview homes. You will be thankful for the headache/ Heartbreak you would have saved yourself and love ones from.Awareness is key. Do not let any one (Realtor) fool you into buying their properties!!!It is a shame that a company like this is allowed to build properties in the first place. They thrive in lack of quality, useless and unreliable properties. Just the way leggo comes crashing down that is how any property you buy from them will come crashing down from the month you move in. You were warned!!!SHAME!!!Services: Install flooring

We bought a Broadview by Qualico home 6 years ago. It was 10 years old at the time. Outwardly nice looking, when we decided to finish the basement we quickly learned looks can be deceiving. The basement plans do not align with the actual basement at all. In fact it’s like a different house. All the beams and ductwork are badly done necessitating ridiculous bulkheads. Our builder found serious issues with the staircase. This house should never have passed inspection but was likely signed off as part of subdivision development. People looking to buy any Qualico product should forget a home inspector. Bring an open reel measuring tape and a qualified plumber and electrician along for inspection. We would not have bought if we had. I would give zero stars if I could.

It's horrible service and warranty. Since July'2022 possession, service is horrible to fix their work. It's totally not a custom builder. FoxRidge Homes, the custom home brand of Qualico.

In my honest experience, they did not properly insulate my basement to code - 9 years of issues with my new home build. I will never build a home with Qualico again. Seems like they just build them as quickly as they can and cut as many corners as possible to save money. When I inquired about the issues they deflected, and it may have been just to get passed the warranty period. Finally had the basement done correctly with proper insulation and haven't had an issue since - unfortunately it cost almost $5000 out of my own pocket. The contractor I hired was absolutely shocked with the lack of quality workmanship that I invested my life savings into. Hopefully others haven't had to go through what I have over the past 9 years.Service: Home building

Built a house with them ten yrs ago. The corners they cut. From improper size HRV unit for the size of my house. The fact that one room doesn't have enough floor vents and is freezing in winter and boiling in summer. Un useable... The shotty finish work. My garage door has 3 different size hinges and the trim work is disgusting . Stay away from Qualico. I will of I ever build again.

I am writing this review to warn people of how this company does business.Lets start from the beginning. After signing the documents, and clearly specifying what style of home we wanted, out of the two options, Qualico did the wrong one, opposite of what we have selected. Of course at this point it was too late to do anything, so we just waited for the home to be finished. Two weeks prior to possession date we walked in to see the progress and found that the basement area was flooded with water sitting pretty high and getting soaked by the drywall which was already installed at the staircase. Two weeks later the house was done, we got the keys, walked in and went straight for the basement, where we found that the water in fact was gone, however the drywall which was connected to the staircase going down to the basement was completely covered in mold! We were shocked that this house passed any kind of an inspection in such a terrible condition! They gave us keys to a house that has obvious signs of health threats. It is a known fact that mold is extremely unhealthy to be around, and can cause health problems. After multiple ignored phone calls to the warranty person at Qualico, we were finally able to get a hold of the warranty manager, who eventually sent someone to come down and cut out the infected piece of drywall, and without any further treatment, slapped a new piece on, and who knows how long it'll be until the mold is back again. The same year (first year of owning the house), we started having mold issues in our garage, to which the warranty management said "it is your responsibility as the house owner, you're not supposed to park your vehicles in the garage in the winter as this causes mold to grow. We are not responsible", and sent us an article that was supposed to be a "proof" that mold growing in a 1 year old home was normal. We were shocked once again, how come none of our neighbors had that issue? Perhaps because they all built with different builders? They all parked their cars in the garage, and had no such problems. Long story short, couple years later after all hope was gone that Qualico would do anything at all to help us with this issue, we did the garage treatment ourselves, by hiring an independent contractor.I am not going to list all the issues that we had to go through with this builder, because it would turn into a very long and annoying article. The point of this review is to warn home buyers of the low building standards that Qualico has, along with poor work ethics, and rude salespeople making racial remarks. If you build with them and have warranty related issues, they will only take care of minor things, like leaking water taps, cracks in the ceiling due to temperature changes and other minor things. Anything major, they refuse taking responsibility for. Please save yourself the trouble and build with someone who will not put you through so much stress and emotional pain and financial burden. Someone that won't blame YOU after doing a poor job building a home and refuse to take responsibility for their poor work quality. A company whose warranty manager won't make a statement such as this one: "you are responsible for it, you just never lived in a new home before so you don't know what its like and how to take care of it!"Literally a quote from a phone conversation that I heard Twice from the same person Chris Pugh -warranty manager who is only nice to you when he senses that you may be recording what he's saying. Too bad I was not recording this phone call.No matter how hard you try, and what kind of proof you have, they got themselves covered from all directions to ensure that they can easily blame the home owner.Use them at your own risk. As I mentioned, I sure hope they don't treat every body like that, maybe it is because we have immigrated from another country, maybe it is because we speak with an accent, so they feel like they can get away with it. Good job, you got away with it, but now everybody will know what you do and h

We bought from Qualico 17 years ago. They cut corners on everything. Just posting now, as we are redoing the flooring. Terrible workmanship. They used whatever boards they had lying around. They used buffalo board in the bathrooms. You can imagine what it is left of that. It was actually our second home from them. Both were sub standard. Never again would I use them. The only quality is in half their name. Buyer beware.

If I can give 0 star, I will. Don't buy house from this builder or some builders under it. The material is very cheap; the warranty does not really exist. If there is some issue, they will come to see, just come to see. and make another time to come to see, again and again until the warranty expired. They did this for my house. For one issue, they came to my house over 10 times. Really just cam to see. The problem is still there. We wasted our 15 days to wait for them at home.
