We had our company Christmas party here and the food was great. The staff kept everything fresh and full. We all enjoyed it so much.

I wasnt going to post this had the hotel dealt with this situation with reasonableness. But here are pictures of bed bugs at this hotel.I booked a work trip for 3 nurses attending a health conference at this hotel last week. One of the nurses discovered evidence of bed bug activity and all three requested immediate transfer to another hotel.I immediately got them and paid for rooms at the holiday inn. I then requested hotel to refund us for the 3 rooms. Hotel refused after multiple attempts.This level of professionalism is unacceptable. Anyone reading this review you have been warned. This hotel not only house bed bugs they also will refuse to right their wrong. This place needs to be investigated and shutdown.

This is a very beautiful hotel, and situated in a very calm vicinity, if you don't like noise while lodged in a hotel, Norwood is an ideal hotel for you, the interior designs of the hotel, makes it looks giving, exceptional and exquisite in beauty, what a wonderful architectural design of the structure.Their management and staff customer friendliness and association, is quite a commendable one, the food from their restaurant is also giving... Norwood is really a hotel with a difference.Rooms: Their rooms are very tidy, and also giving... With a quality mattress and tuck duvet, the ambiance of the is really a great one, additional to the window views, which will make you feel the beauty of the neighbourhood, a quality sleep is rest assured in their rooms.

Great place to stay if you want to be closer to the Forks and museum. Breakfast was chill and delish. We had people joining at all diff times... Not a problem. Nice 10 minute walk to the Forks, then another 5 to 10 to the museum. Perfect for us.

Would’ve given it a 5 just for the restaurant, but the rooms were “meh” and had a curious strench. Also, desk staff needed help doing their job. Good place to experience French district food after dark without dealing with crime on the streets!

Avoid if you can. For the price didn't feel like it was worth the value. Location is good as its close to the forks but every night you could hear people laughing while they are drunk and the cleanliness wasn't so great. Staff werent the most professional bringing up issues

We spent very little time at the hotel even though we had a three day reservation. This means I cannot speak to the over all hotel stay, but what I can speak to is the incredible level of rudeness we experienced by the various hotel staff. We arrived, checked in, got our keys and headed to the room to drop off the stuff we needed there. Neither keys worked, not a huge deal but on returning to the desk we were lectured rather harshly by the front desk clerk about how we should not keep the keys beside our phones (We had not put our keys anywhere near our phones as they were in our hands the entire time). When we went to collect our belongings from the hotel yet again the keys did not work. The keys had been in a bag well away from our phones while we were busy getting married but again we were lectured and blamed for the keys not working. I would not book here again after being treated so poorly on two separate occasions by different staff members. I would expect that this is a part of their training given it was the same accusation both times.

Hi room and location was good but not happy as I reserved a room for a friend who did not have a credit card to hold the room for her l.So I did and she paid the total when she got there and they still charged my card as well so they got double payment and refuse to fix it for my card which is bull but will fix from my end a dispute on my card and report

The rooms seem newly renovated and are beautiful and clean, especially the bathrooms. Friendly front desk clerk. Walking distance to St. Boniface hospital. I would stay here again.

All I can say is it's waaaay overpriced! Our In-Laws were in town so my Mother-in-law could get some tests done at St Boniface Hospital. They took a couple of seniors for $180 per night for a room with a double bed. When I spoke to the front desk manager, he gave me a story about how much of a deal we were getting considering occupancy. Doesn't change the fact they got a couple of seniors for a guaranteed room for two nights and when I brought it up to them, they politely told me to beat it. Never again folks!

A bit removed from the core but walkable, lots of reasonably priced restaurants all around. I recommend this location quiet.

We have had our Mirror X rented out for both a Halloween Party at the restaurant and for a wedding in the banquet room. Both times we were incredibly impressed with the event coordinators and staff. The most recent one, the wedding they accommodated our set-up time with no issue, had everything ready for when we arrived and were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offered suggestions when we found we needed a bit more room. If you are looking for a venue for an event I would highly recommend the Norwood Hotel!

I did not stay here, only attended a meeting, and went for supper. The restaurant was a little pricey by Winnipeg standards, but food was great.

I had an hour to kill waiting for the #10 bus at Tache & Marion so I went to The Tavern for one of their GREAT coffees. Have done this before & the Tavern is so relaxing. Love the decor. A lovely place to kill time instead of waiting out in the cold. GREAT coffee.Walkability: A nice warm place to wait for the #10 bus which only comes only once every hour.
