Ordered online and sizing was off from normal sizing. They would not allow returns to the store, only online. Went through the hassle of returning it via post office. Got advice from their customer service representative online for correct sizing. At that time, asked them if they were absolutely sure they were correct. Responded with an emphatic YES. Received replacement order and, again, sizing was wrong. Had to go through the return process all over again. Went to their store, who wouldn't honour the same sale price as the item online. Why they wouldn't when it's the same store, I have no idea. Love their products but will never shop there again based on the above. Just not worth the hassle

Really unique style indigenous boots and mukluks. The quality is very good and the prices affordable. I'm not sure if this is a Manitoba business though, because they told me that the boots that I ordered are going to be shipped from Vancouver...

I was super excited to go to this store and purchase not one but two pairs of mukluk boots. Upon my arrival there were no customers in the store and two employees (one named LEAH) standing behind the cash area chit chatting, not one of the two employees acknowledged or greeted me. I had to take a boot up to the front counter and ask for a size, they did not have the size i was hoping for and they DID NOT offer another size/color or style. I had to ask the employee ( LEAH) myself to see the availability on other sizes up or down. I picked out a second style of boot and asked for a size, they had. Suddenly they also had the original size i requested in the first boot style aswell. I was purchasing both these boots as gifts. The employee (LEAH) DID NOT show me any of the boots or show/offer or explain any warranty (if included), cleaning products or care of the material of the boots. This store has plenty of INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS and heritage within the store but they DO NOT honour the treaty status tax exemption on the INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS. Other retailer stores within the city that sell their MANITOBAH BRANDED INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS honour the treaty status card tax exempt. In store they also don’t honour the 10% off coupon code from their own online website. As these boots were both being bought as gifts, i asked the return/exchange policy and was told the shoes need to be unworn, in the shoe box and WITH A RECEIPT. I made it out to my vehicle and checked for my receipt before leaving, nothing, no receipt. So i doubled checked and sure enough i was not given a receipt. I went back into the store and had to ask for the receipt, the employee says “sorry, i must’ve forgot to put the receipt in the bag”, after i ASKED the return/exchange policy. What would’ve happened then if i didn’t realize that i wasn’t given a receipt? I had a horrible experience and received horrible customer service in this store today. Thankfully when i went back in, i asked the employee her name (LEAH) so i could include it in this review. To the Management of this store; you NEED to TRAIN your employees on customer service, and ensure that YOUR customers satisfaction is being met. Employee is LEAH 0/10 from me. I would not purchase or recommend for anyone to purchase from here.

The hours are not correct. It says 9pm on goggle on a Friday night, they are open yet you go to the store and the hours are posted that they are open till 8pm. We went tonight at 7pm and they were closed. We talked to an employee and he mentioned that they have to pay someone to come removed the hours from the door as they are not correct. Thus far it has been a total of 2 wasted trips. Over all not impressed

To be quite honest, most of these reviewers don’t understand what’s going on here. Yes these products are “made in Vietnam” however it’s a fair price given that. Half of the people commenting and complaining about it are NOT willing to dish out the $$$ for HANDMADE & LOCAL moccasins and mukluks.Truth be told if you really want a locally made product, you better prepare to pay a pretty penny.Anyways, great and super knowledgeable employees, great store, great location.“But the stores called Manitobah, that’s false advertising if it’s made it Vietnam”No, no it’s not. Stop complaining, get over it.

I have bought several items from this store over the years, but I had a terrible experience in Aug 2023. At the advice of the clerk I bought a pair of moccasins slightly smaller than usual (told they will stretch). When I found they were too tight I took them back in original packaging with original tags (made in China) as per their policy. Their website says they are happy to exchange sizes. I couldn't find my bill and when I tried explaining to the same clerk, she kept interrupting me with "I know what you're saying." Not sure how she knew what I was saying before I said it. When I asked to speak to someone else, she was downright beligerent, smiling, and egging me on with statements, like "go ahead, don't buy anything from us", "It's a great product, isn't it?" She also pointed to the counter with a phrase at the bottom of their policy that merely says "keep your receipt" (says nothing about this on their website return policy). When I offered to show them my bank statement they said "no" and they claimed they couldn't find record of my sale on the computer for some reason. Totally unprofessional and obnoxious after sales service.

I never leave negative reviews but this company has just gone completely downhill. It used to be a local company I was proud to support but now its just products made in Vietnam and their customer service is atrocious. I'll never shop here again.

We were walking around the forks and bumped it to the store we didn’t know there was a store front since we have done all of our shopping online with Manitobah so far they didn't have my wife’s size so we didn't get anything but definitely will in the future online or in store because how nice Darein was great customer service

Thought we were getting Mukluks and I guess we did????Low quality and way overpriced.Fancy box , fancy looking but ohhhh my!!!!!Made in Vietnam!!!!!!!I would think First Nations would sell authentic but hey I guess there’s a big demand for Mukluks in Vietnam!!!I’m trying to visualize First Nations people from Canada making high quality Mukluks in VIETNAM!!I guess they followed the way of cheap labour and quality over tradition and Pride .I wonder where they got that idea from??Just more overpriced garbage being sold as quality but certainly far from it !’Just another business taking advantage of consumers.Tell your customers they’re made in Vietnam instead of misleading the consumer!!
