Having rarely wanted to browse Hudson's Bay, I thought I would do so this past Tuesday during some downtime. Not only was I constantly watched, but when I got lost trying to find my way out, an older female employee from the bottom level near the Zeller's pop-up took me by the elbow and guided me out to near the escalators. She could've told me the directions but instead decided a tight grip on my elbow was appropriate. It's this discriminatory behaviour that turns away customers, who keep in mind, have no intention of stealing.

What a Hot Mess! Literally.
The place was about +30 inside, the floors were so coated in dust balls about the same size of the rodents I imagine are running around there at night. The only staff that talked to me gave the impression that she thought I was only there to steal?! Here I was going to spend hundreds, not anymore. Walked out.

Earlier today I was at the Polo Park location in Winnipeg, it so disappointing that the air conditioning/heating system is still not functioning properly it is like a sauna in there not a pleasant way to shop. This issue has been going on for several months and still not fixed. How can you expect your employees to work in these condition's, totally unacceptable. And unpleasant for your customers as well. And let’s not forget that on several occasions you have closed the store because of the heat. How unprofessional is that for your customers. They come to the store it is closed.
I was told that you would probably close at 1 pm today because of the heat.
You can do better.

Awesome clothing, but on the high end...

There’s minimal staff working, hard to buy stuff when you cannot find an open cashier. Also the store is super hot and uncomfortable, plus no music playing which was strange.

Good collection but the costliest store I have been to, in Winnipeg.

Third time recently that I tried to shop at the Bay, Polo Park. Each time I went the store was unexpectedly closed. If it gets too hot and they can't afford to cool the store, perhaps they should open earlier, when the mall opens.

Second time I’ve been spoken rudely to. Went to the bay polo park today Sunday the 8th of August. After shopping at the male section for my partner, I then went ahead to the watch repair section to get my watch battery changed. After which I proceeded to the jewelry section. There wasn’t any sales rep around there and what I wanted to buy was locked up in one of glass shelves. I then sighted this older sales rep from afar standing idle and I called out to her saying Maam pls I need help over here. She worked towards me and suddenly turned the other way round. I then said pls
Mama what I want is over here pointing to the shelves, and all the while I was on the phone as well with my older sister. This lady turned back and yelled in an angry tone saying “ I’m just going to get the keys !!! My sister was like why is the lady speaking to u in that way? I was so shocked that I had to tell her to pls stop raising her voice at me bcos I did nothing wrong to the woman. She’s an older lady with a very husky voice. She now said oh I’m sorry. I ended up not buying the earrings bcos I was so upset. That lady is either frustrated or have issues with coloured people.

Was super hot inside had to run out of there before passing out. feel sorry for the employees. Store shut down because management is too cheap to pay for proper maintenance.
