My girlfriend brought her car to Fort Rouge Auto Centre to have a loud front end noise diagnosed. The shop diagnosed it as a wheel bearing, and indicated that the right front wheel bearing, right front axle, and left and right front ball joints needed to be replaced (right side being passenger side - as is standard convention).
The plan was to have the shop diagnose the issue and then I was going to order and replace the faulty parts myself to save some money.
We relied on their diagnosis of the noise to order and replace parts. Unfortunately, their diagnoses was wrong, and it was actually the left front wheel bearing which was making the noise. Realizing this after hours spent replacing the wrong wheel bearing was beyond frustrating.
It is disappointing, and quite frankly, laughable, that 'professional' mechanics misdiagnosed which side wheel bearing noise was coming from. It makes me wonder if they even put the car on a lift. We thought we would save time and effort letting the 'experts' diagnose the issue, but the opposite was true.
I suggest you learn from my mistake and take your car elsewhere to get any sort of diagnosis done.
PS: they were going to charge us $1200+ to replace the parts themselves. If we let this shop do the repair I suppose the actual bill would've been $2400+ when they realized they repaired the wrong side. Ended up replacing both sides for under $800 myself (thanks RockAuto).

My car was broken into, window smashed .. objects stolen. It was an exhausting and distressing experience but the staff (Vivienne) at Princess Auto were simply amazing. They went to extra lengths to help me fill out reporting, walked me through every step, cleaned up a ton of broken glass .. taped it up beautifully and phoned me in less than 24 hours to book a time to have the window replaced. I can't recommend them more highly; friendly, super efficient, so helpful and really kind. Amazing people who excel and they made me feel comfortable and as unstressed as you could be, given the circumstances. 10 stars for them!

The only auto body shop we use. Never had a disappointment in 25 years. Just had paintless dent removal done on our Verano and the result is stellar as usual. Highly recommended!

I had a small accident and needed to have a fender replaced. Fort Rouge came highly recommended from a friend. They're VW certified and know what they're doing. The paint on the new fender looks better than my factory paint ? Thank you for getting my 2.Slow back on the road so quickly.

Fort rouge auto did such an amazing job fixing my civic which I initially thought was 100% a write off. They absolutely went above and beyond and I couldn’t be happier. The final result of my car is outstanding I genuinely cannot believe how perfect it turned out. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of the services they provide :) the staff are also incredibly friendly and accommodating!

I have dealt with Fort Rough numerous times and will do so in the future. They do great work and cleaned my car inside and out. A free loner car to use while my car was being repaired. Fast friendly service . I recommend that when your vehicle needs repairs , take it to Fort Rough Auto Centre.

Would really like to thank everyone at Fort Rouge Body Shop. My Golf R had unfortunately had two claims of damage on the driver's side. I took my car to Fort Rouge both times where they took extra care in sanitizing the car's inside and fixing the damage. The work they did was fantastic! My car is as good as new.

I went here a few months ago and they helped me sort out some scratches on my car. Fortunately the scratches weren't deep or anything, but their willingness to try buffing them out first (and then a proper fix when the buffing didn't take out all the blemishes) was a big help. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable, can't ask for more than that.

Great experience. I had to bring my vehicle in after I was in an accident. I called to make an appointment to get it looked at and was able to get in within a couple of days. After MPI approved my repair, I was able to bring my car to get repaired within a few days. Not only did they fix my bumper but they cleaned it inside and out. I was also given a courtesy car! Great service. I would highly recommend them!!
