Sale items are rung up at regular prices at the check out. Be aware of your total before you pay. It's a common occurrence. Also, be aware common staples are marked up 20 to 30 % above market value. Coffee or butter for example. I want to support local grocery stores but their business practices are questionable.

Tl;dr Check food expiration dates!
I used to really like this grocery store; it's within a convenient distance from my house with a surprisingly good variety for the size of the store. However lately I have bought a couple things from their without checking the best before date and the items were many days past their best before (items were milk and flour). I've returned expired milk before as it had gone sour, only to notice that the expired milk was still in the fridge for sale days later. Also prices on certain items are wild... almost $15 for a jar of Adam's peanut butter? No thank you.

My main shopping happens here. Well, everything I want can't be found everywhere. Inside the building it is clean and tidy and well described. The only thing missing is being better informed about this food company and that the workers are available to purchase, answer questions and provide assistance.
Otherwise, the workers are friendly and happy to greet buyers when they show respect.

I used to like this store, but their prices have gotten absurd. Like literally 2-3x the price of other grocery stores. I refuse to be gouged by this place, sorry.

I hope the owner and every employee here is out of a job terrible how they run their store I went there after working a 12 hour shift and they accused me of shoplifting and tried to put hands on me then they realized I was a paying customer wish to eh would try it again cause I would love to Beat up every one of the people who works here and thinks their tough if you can’t deal with shoplifters or the crime in Winnipeg go make a new store in a new city terrible people I can’t wait in 20 years for all this food fare stores to be closed the people who run them are terrible people and tell their employees to use force on homeless people who have no choice but to steal. AND OH DO I THINK ITS FUNNY AMC CANCELLED YOUR CONTRACT CAUSE THEY KNOW YOU GUYS ARE FRAUDS AND CRIMINALS
