Echoing the previous concerns that people are experiencing. I had a horrific experience at this store with trying to return a jacket that the store manager admitted was in perfect condition. I didn't have the tag on me, but had a receipt showing that the jacket was in my possession for a week only before I decided to return it.I didn't have a credit card with me since I brought the debit card that I originally used to purchase my jacket online. When the refund got rejected because I was using a debit card, she tried to come up with various excuses as to why she cannot return the jacket even though she was perfectly willing to do so a couple minutes ago. First it was, the jacket has a smell and it was unsellable as a result. She admitted finally that there was no smell to the jacket and that it was in perfect condition. Then it was that I wore it out because I had to take a card that I put in there. After arguing back and forth that people put things into their jacket when they want to use them and that the jacket was way too light for me to even wear in this weather like I originally intended when I was trying it on, she finally settled on the argument that there was no tag and that there was actually no smell and it was perfect, but she couldn't compromise on this.She frequently would go to the back for 10-15 minutes when she would get stumped and run out of arguments, which was absolutely ridiculous since it was obvious what she was doing. She'd frequently contradict herself and stutter, and then run to the back to try to come up with something else to reject the refund under the pretense of "calling her manager" (despite saying that SHE herself was the store manager).We ended up leaving just because the experience was so frustrating and unproductive. It felt like we were arguing in a circle.There are SO many other places you can go to get a good winter jacket with great customer service. Please save yourself the headache and frustration of having to deal with the store manager and her employees at this location. She will openly use the fact that this is the only Eddie Bauer location in Winnipeg as a trump card and will tell this to you to your face. The lack of integrity and violation of company policy is so blatant that I wonder who has chosen to hire her and if they are intentionally trying to drive away customers from this location.

Not really directed at this specific store - the employees seem nice there. But the company customer service as a whole is absolutely horrific.Returned an item on october 28 in store, for $210. Haven't received the refund and I've been having to fight everyone, wasting a lot of time, in touch with rude people over the phone, trying to get my money back after providing bank statements. Finally I get an email saying they've issued a check that won't come for another month. So two months I'm out $210. I'm a student, there was a reason I made the return. I needed the money. Been told multiple times it's my problem, for an issue on their end. Not my fault their system failed with this, but wow, for a place that is so expensive I'd at least think they'd care more about their customers. Horrible first experience and I'll never be shopping there again. Hoping in the end I'll even get the money back, at this point not so sure.

Did not have my size on the rack. Refused to check the size on the mannequin despite admitting it looks like it was my size. Terrible service. Also the store is a dump. It used to be a well run organized store with great service. These days it feels like walking into zellers.

Would not refund an item because I used debit and not credit, would not exchange for an item them had to order to the store, would not exchange for a gift card of same value, trash service, don't go here 0/5 stars if I could.

I've been getting all my winter gear from here over the years because of their lifetime guarantee. Today I learnt it's a total lie. The store manager refused to help me without a receipt. Who keeps receipts from over a year ago? What's the purpose of a lifetime warranty when you can't honor your promise?The website says:All products that are deemed defective without proof of purchase, as well as defective products purchased more than one year earlier, are only eligible for exchange or replacement with a similar item.The manager said the policy changed because the store was acquired by a different company and they will no longer honor this policy. He was also very rude and made a scene by speaking loudly and was very condescending.I will never go back to this store again. Terrible customer service! And it seems like im not the only one who thinks this based on other reviews on here ?

Love eddie bauer products. Hate ordering on line. The shipping company they use is terrible for condos. They never like to deliver to condos. When i asked eddie bauer customer service if i can get my order ahippedbto my local store instead of home delivery they didn't answer. It is also unacceptable for a company this large to take a week to process my order beforw shipping. Its to bad because i love their product

Wish I could give them zero starsHorrible service, absolutely no help in the storeVirtually no selection of appropriate sizes. Everything is Small or Extra Large or XXL or even better XXXLManager who was working was rude, unfriendly & of zero assistanceThanks for your lack of service & selection Eddie Bauer at Polo Park. I for one will never shop at your store again, & for those reading this post, don't waste your time!

Super upset with their online shopping. Terrible return services. Didn’t refund me until I follow up and it is not mentioned in their website. They would’ve just keep the money if I didn’t ask. They made my pay for my shipping too. Took 5 weeks for a refund and that’s the result of me followed up with them. I would call this fraud!!
