I have bought parts and have repair work done by Direct Auto for well over 30 years and have referred many family and friends over that time. In all the years I've dealt with them I can only recall on incident where they misdiagnosed and replaced the wrong part. It was expensive but only once in over 30 years is pretty darn good track record. Admittedly I haven't used them as much over the past couple of years mainly because we don't drive near there for to work anymore. Ain't retirement nice.

My vehicle got a bad oil change from a shop that resulted in multipleIssues including stalling at idle.We brought our vehicle to direct once we got it out of the other shop to be looked at. Leo was amazing to deal with! He kept us updated on our car. We didn’t have to keep calling for answers which for me was really big deal. (Other shop never called , I had to keep calling them)They worked with us to figure out the mystery of the stalling. They went above and beyond to make sure we got the car back in working condition. ( which was not easy and not a 1 day job ) very reasonable pricing as well.I have had the vehicle back now for a couple weeks and it is still running good! No more stalling , no more check engine light !This will be our go to shop from now on. :)

I thought my car needed wheel alignment when it started to become wobbly. So I took it here and within 5 minutes they tell me my tire is no good and that's what's causing it to be wobbly. They only charged me $20 and told me wheel alignment was not needed. They did not have my tire in so I got it changed somewhere else. And no more wobbling. I really appreciate the honesty and would highly recommend this place if you're not knowledgeable about cars, because you can trust these guys 100%

I’m so sorry to say this. I’ve been dealing here for parts and service for 20 years. Now I’m turned off this place. I brought my van in. Showed the service writer what it was doing. He right away said. Starter relay or solinoid. Said it would be fixed in the morning. I show up and there changing the terminal ends on the battery cable. Then they charged me $350 for that. 2 hours of service.That’s right. They changed the batter ends and it took 2 hours. Why not change the whole cable. It would of been 15 minutes and $200 cheaper.I left and the first time I turned off my van. It wouldn’t start. Same problem as to why it went in. Now I was left stranded in front of my customers house. Changed the starter and it’s working fine.I’ll post a picture of the receipt later.In response to the owners reply. Your service writer said it looked like a relay or sylinoid. There was nothing wrong with the battery terminals, it was all the starter and relay. When I took it to another garage. They said the same thing. They changed the starter and my van is running fine.$250 for the starter and $70 to change it.Why would I bring it back after being charged $430 in total. Not to mention. You charged me $65 to reset my codes on the truck and as soon as I started it. All my code lites turned on. You say you test drive it ? I don’t think so. You did not test drive the van. I was there. You parked it out front and I got in.Sorry. I was happy with you guys for 20 years. This really kicked me in the butt…

Highly recommended for auto repair. I had my air suspension replaced and they did a fantastic job. They were honest, upfront and fairly priced. Thank you to all the staff for answering all my questions and getting my truck back in great shape!!
