We built our first home with Daytona and we have nothing but great experience from sales, design, after-sales, and literally, in every aspect! We wouldn't have it any other way and we'd always look forward to build with them in the future! All thanks to Elaine Pecson, our home advisor, for ensuring we have everything in place! She is definitely one of a kind - very accommodating, helpful and optimistic! Pricings are upfront, craftsmanship and design are topnotch and warranty service is amazing! We are 100% satisfied and would highly recommend!

We had a bad experience with the sales. We were told concrete stair was not available from sales period to the drawing stage, up to our first tour. We found out ourselves almost all of our neighbors are having concrete stairs. We are so disappointed by this because we wanted concrete stairs from the beginning.

Imagine they built the space for your fridge and it doesn't fit and they have to remove your pantry. It was a fight with the sales manger to the GM just to negotiate for something to work within the space and cabinet contractor even paid for some of the drawers cause GM wouldn't! Pretty much no compensation for re-designing our home from a mistake they made! Feel like I am the site supervisor for the last year following up and checking on the work contractors do!Service: Home building

DAYTONA homes is highly recommended. The team is very friendly, responsive and won't give you false hope. The house is properly built and with good quality workmanship. Easy to communicate with even after sale. The whole experience with Daytona is stress free which I think is very important. If you are planning to build your home choose Daytona and you would never go wrong.

We were unhappy that the driveway wasn't ready by the possession date of June 23, 2021 and that they couldn't tell us when it would be done. But workers have shown up now on July 15 and it looks like it will be done soon. As for the house itself, we are impressed with the quality of construction. Also, the staff are pleasant to deal with.

I would highly recommend Daytona Homes to anyone who is considering purchasing a new home. Their reputation, quality workmanship and professionalism is amazing. Daytona Homes shows a level of care and attention that is outstanding. They want their customer to feel comfortable and be educated in owning a home. From our salesperson, Preet, foremen Paul and Chris, Greg from home maintenance along with Jackson at their office, each of them showed a level of care and attentiveness that you would not receive from other builders. In the past it was a hassle. Not with Daytona Homes of Winnipeg. They "rock". Thank you for the beautiful home.

We’ve walked through competitor show homes where reps were either: pushy, rude, admitted their add-ons were overpriced & that their finishes weren’t worth the amount the builder was asking. A lot of the time they weren’t fully transparent about what you were actually getting. For example one builder wanted to charge $300 for a kitchen faucet upgrade, that we knew was only worth $150.
From the day we first stepped foot into their show homes, Daytona Homes has been a real pleasure to work with and was actually a breath of fresh air. We got to work with both Chris & Daniel. We never felt rushed or pressured while looking. Even if we had 1000s of questions, no question was a stupid question. They always gave us an answer right away without hesitation.
During our buying process, they made it super easy & answered all our questions. It made this stressful time actually less stressful on us because we truly felt like we were in good hands. We’ve done a lot of research on local home builders, and Daytona was one of the few that actually gave genuine quality finishes meant to last. Their employees also treat you like you’re a family member or friend, not a business deal.
After we got possession, Daytona was extremely thorough making sure we were happy with everything. If there was something that needed to be fixed or adjusted, they communicated with us immediately. They would send someone to come out right away without any issue. Every one of their contractors that have walked through our home have been amazing. They’re friendly, meticulous and you can tell they truly take pride in their job.
With the combination of their home quality, employees and approachability, I think this is what makes them come out ahead vs other home builders. So thank you Daytona! We look forward to spending many exciting years in our new home!

I’ve attached some photos to backup my rating experience. Buying your first house is an amazing experience and rate any service within one year does not give you enough time to see all details. So here they are:
- Frigidaire microwave stopped working within 8 months. It was fixed 3 times in less than 2 years.
- Winter time we got water inside the intake and the foil cover froze
- kitchen planks started to move away from each other.
- concrete driveway got a popcorn appearance.
- we were told the insulation in our attic was enough but the insulation company came and noticed that it was not enough so they filled up and left the access “door” dirty and without proper sealing.
- HRV stopped working a couple of month after the warranty expires.
- many of the furnace pipes are not properly installed and there are leakage of cold and hot air in my basement (something nobody would notice).
The warranty person is amazing but even so, many issues have happened to a new home in a short period of time.
We are very happy however I know that I’ll be the one fixing all these little/big issues.
