It is hard to express how grateful we are to have found Dana Graham to help us with our house hunt.Before I get to all the reasons why she was great to work with, if you haven't already, check out her Donuts and Downpayments workshop. In my opinion, this short course is a must for all first-time home buyers. You learn everything you need to know about the home purchasing process and the real estate market in Winnipeg and Manitoba in just a few hours. Get the steps to buying your first home, ask all the questions you've been saving up, and meet other first-time home buyers you can bond with over boston cremes.So, why was our experience with Dana so great?1) She is straight up and will point out any red flags. If she doesn't think you should buy the house because it will cause you headaches, she will tell you. We felt like she had been a friend for years, and had our back.2) Having a realtor who knows how to use modern technology and can sell you a house from halfway around the world is a true skill! We were in a unique situation where we were returning to Manitoba, in a pandemic, after working in Europe for several years. Since it was impossible to fly in for home viewings, Dana arranged virtual tours of homes, walking us through and carefully detailing anything that might be of concern.3) She will not pressure you into any bid or purchase you're not 100% comfortable with. Speaking from her years of experience, Dana will advise you on crafting a winning bid. Even though the bidding wars were intimidating, she never forced us to go beyond our comfort zone.4) She has a great network of colleagues to help you at every stage of the buying process. There is no obligation to choose them, but she has you covered if you need a mortgage broker, a lawyer, or a home inspector.5) She is an excellent negotiator. Even though the market was scorching, we could still negotiate slightly on the price of the home we finally purchased. At one point, there was a bit of confusion between what had been promised in the contract and what we would receive when we took possession, and she was able to help us navigate this seamlessly.I am confident that we would not have found our current dream house if it weren't for Dana. We will certainly work with her again in the future and would recommend her to friends and family without hesitation.

My partner and I met Dana at one of her Donuts and Down-payments events and we are so glad we did! Not only is Dana kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional (with a great sense of humour!), but she also deeply cares about her clients. She was incredibly patient with us throughout our entire home buying journey, during a pandemic no less. If there was a question she couldn't answer, she went above and beyond to have it solved for us. I would highly recommend Dana to anyone needing a real estate agent! Thank you, Dana!

Dana is one of a kind! She truly cares about doing a good job and taking care of her customers. She’s smart, attentive, responsive, patient, organized, fun, etc etc. She looked into every small detail and made time to accommodate our busy schedules. She made the home buying process so much easier for my wife and I.
