The gentleman in the front was friendly, but the woman in the back was so miserable and made me fell uncomfortable when I was asking questions about the comics … and the condition and prices of the comics especially the ones on the walls were terrible … the price and condition of their Creepy #1 was laughable … the bags those old books they were sitting in looked like they haven’t been changed in years … the book I did take home had a page with something cut out of it … the bag had some yellowing … and the humidity in that shop sure wasn’t helping the older books … I’ve heard about the woman in the back being unwelcoming for a while now and read the reviews … had to check it out myself … never coming back

Awesome selection of comics and a wide variety of both literature and sports memorabilia. Found a copy of batman year one for 10 bucks. Used of course but in near perfect condition

These owners are amazing they know their stuff they've been selling comics and memorabilia for a long time. And they make sure they have almost all the newest additions of comics graphic novels and they don't get enough support or recognition as a they should. If you are a comic book collector or a comic enthusiast from Winnipeg or visiting Winnipeg, come here you will Have a great classic comic book store experience. Galaxy comics is good but it doesn't have that classic mom and pops feel like book fair Does. you're not going to get a more authentic and professional experience then book fair will offer you.

Clean and organized. You can't just walk into the store as they keep the door locked and you have to ring the bell and wait for them to open the door, masks are also still required.

I recently purchased a book K Applegate called Everworld, very grateful to find 1 of 12 book series there and the owners are so nice and helpful! I'm on the email list if another Everworld book in the series I don't have shows up I'm getting it. The series was the first I ever books I read 20 years ago.

I like Book Fair. Prices are good, and on new stuff you get a free bag and board. The points program is nice too. The staff are top notch and stay open a little later if I can't get there by five.
