I have used the garage for over 6 years always happy with the service. I'm a single mother with 2 daughters, we are very clueless as to car Maintenace and repair. They have been very honest and fair. They even advise not to spend money on an older car as repairs would be ongoing. I trust them 100%

I am thankful for small local businesses. I have been struggling to get my windshield wipers to work correctly. I went to Canadian Tire, Costco, and Wal Mart. None of the workers there were able to listen to my concerns. They all said that having streaks on my front window when it rains is what happens. Finally I had had it with my frustration level. I pulled into Academy Road Service. IMMEDIATLY a man listened to me. He came out and checked the wiper on the glass. He tried three other kinds. Not one of them worked. He said he would order one and to come in the next day. I did just that and --- the one he ordered worked fantastic. One month later it is still fantastic!!! Thank you Academy Road Service folks!!

Bottom-line is that I would recommend them. In summary I would say that they are nice, honest, and trustworthy in my experience.
I've been there on 2 occasions. Once when my old car had engine troubles. They were honest about their diagnosis and the fact that they couldn't do anything. The generous part was that they didn't charge me for the diagnosis (not saying they won't ever charge for diagnosing).
And then I went there just recently to get my windshield wiper motor replaced for my new car. They did a great job with it, no complaints. The mechanics I chatted were kind and helpful.

Why go spend thousands to fix a car that only needs a small repair.Stay away from dealerships that up the charge for services that you do not need.Bruce and his team have never failed to diagnose the problem, fix the problem without needing a bank loan, and have always been the kindest people to deal with.I am very particular about who touches my cars. You will not be disappointed by the quality of care that you receive. I have known Bruce for 30+ years and he is a gem.

I had an issue with an intermittent battery light and parasitic draw on battery - Bruce and the Academy team ran a diagnostic, figured out where issue originated and recommended an electronic shop that would do the best job. He didn't even charge me for his diagnostic. That is fantastic service in my books and I will recommend to my friends and family!Services: Electrical
