Sobeys has a pretty wide variety of stuff that you can't find in many other stores, which is great. Their ready-made meals are nothing short of delicious. Their sushi and sandwiches? Yum! But on the flip side, it does come with a heftier price tag compared to other stores in the area.

I actually really enjoy the environment in Sobeys. Even though the prices can be a little high, I'm often able to find decent deals if I'm willing to try different brands.
That said, I have been ordering cakes there for the past 3 years, since everyone loves the taste of Sobeys cakes so much... But every single time I get a cake from there, they mess it up, and it's a fight to get them to fix it. They spell names wrong time after time, refuse to use images that I have my artistic sister draw up when they run out of licensed decopacs or edible images, which they often do. From employee to employee you'll get different info and answers. Today they refused to fix a misspelled name at all. Safe to say I'm through using Sobeys bakery for my 4 kids' birthday cakes. Very disappointed.

Honestly, their bakery is the main reason I go to sobeys. Fresh baked goods at a reasonable price. Lots of shopping variety. Plus stone city coffee shop is right there when you head out!

My sister and I were having special family over for supper. We bought the same day made cinnamon buns they looked gooey and moist. Just wonder how many other people did you disappoint that day. That went to indulge in a treat from your so call excellent bakery. As serving dessert we notice that they were packaged upside down. The tops were so burnt and black they could not be salvaged. Waste of money and an embarrassing moment for the family. I will never return to this bakery. Where is the management to not have noticed this.

The greeter, Evan, and Amber the cashier are always so pleasant and happy, always make the experience great. Even when I come early in the morning! Excellent staff.
