He makes a comparable wage and has received additional raises as his experience increases. Yes the job is hard. Taking care of people is not for the faint of heart or for those who give up easily. My husband cares and works hard. He likes most of his contacts and those he does not he uses his unique sense of humor.”
“Very nice store. It's very organized and easy to find what you are looking for. Prices are reasonable. It's definitely worth the visit. If the front stairs are hard for you to climb, there is a back door with more parking.”

“I have an elderly, disabled neighbor struggling to pay his rent and have money left over for food to eat.He tries his best, but some months 'falls short'. He told me he was raised to be independant all is of his life, He's been widowed for 3 years.I asked Helping Hands for an emergency food hamper on his behalf, as well as helped him organize visits to this food bank every week, to try to ease some stress in his life.Food insecurity is nothing to be ashamed of; I sometimes need to swallow my pride and occassionally ask for help every 3-4 months or so.I want to thank the Staff, the Volunteers and the wonderful people of Steinbach for their generosity in recognizing this paramount need and 'stepping up' to help.Your altruism, generosity and compassion is truly amazing!
