Big hand to St.Malo Meats. Great customer service and awesome cuts of meat. Just had breakfast sausage,smokies and pepperoni sticks made from an animal that I had taken this fall. Not the first time and won’t be the last.

The best jerky I have ever had, bar none. And I travel around all over the place for work and often stop at little meat shops. Often processed products in other local meat shops can be overly salty or bad cuts or too much filler or bad quality filler, or too soft or much too dry and hard. The people that own and work at this store take pride in their work and it shows. The products are beautifully made and package perfectly.The store itself is beautiful and clean. Very friendly and personable people working there. It's just a really great meat shop. Highly recommend.

Most custom cutting shops I've worked with have a questionnaire that the customer fills out so they know how to cut the meat.St. Malo, while I like their cutting overall and have done great work for me in the past, takes this information over the phone instead. When the employee writes it down incorrectly, the customer is stuck with the final outcome.None of the instructions that were given over the phone were noted properly, and as a result I have an entire beef cut and wrapped that is not what I had requested. I'm now stuck with this mistake.Have been very pleased in the past, but this is a very heavy financial cost for me simply because someone didn't take notes properly.

Worth travelling across the country for! Flew in for a family reunion and was told about this amazing meat shop south of Winnipeg. I didn’t have high hopes as I’m from Alberta and didn’t think any out of province meat shop could compete with Alberta beef. Boy was I wrong!I tried a bit of everything! Jerky, pepperoni, steaks, pepperettes and much more!Jerky was flavourful and long lasting, as jerky should be! Pepperoni was like no pepperoni I’ve ever had before. One of the steaks we made into some beef tartar and it just melted in our mouths! Last few steaks we grilled and they were delicious!The owner is kinda and informative, he even gave me a tour of the shop!If you are from Winnipeg or are in the area, MAKE THE DRIVE, it is 100% worth it. You will not regret it!

We loved this place. The owner is so friendly and customer service is great! We stopped in and picked up 4 beef tenderloin steaks. They were excellent. So tender. We went back 2 days later and picked up 8 more steaks and pepperettes and a ring of garlic ham sausage to take back to Winnipeg as we were staying in the cabins in St Malo. We will be back! Thank you so much for our side last summer. We asked for a special cuts because our experience with other local companies was terrible. This lovely grained beef is very special.
