About Beautiful Plains Museum
Now open for the 2025 summer season! Step back in time by taking a tour through Neepawa, and surrounding areas, Beautiful Plains Museum. Established in 1976, then relocated from Viscount School to the CNR Station. This Heritage Railway Station was built 1902 and has been home to the museum since 1981. Throughout the three floors of the station you will see a general store, medical hall, log cabin, clothing display and much more. It was really interesting to see some Stanfields advertising in Manitoba. I'm from Truro and that's where they make their famous longjohns.

Really cool little museum. No charge but they do ask for a donation.
They do a good job of capturing the town as it was, highly recommend if you're in the area.
