“After driving from Saskatoon to Winnipeg we nearly ran out of gas later in the evening after we could not find a gas station that accepted credit cards at the pump when closed. In desperation we stopped by Shooters Bar which is owned by the same people as Valley Motel and ran into the kindest people in Canada. They were determined to find a way to get us gas. They went out of their way to help us even though they were on their way home - at first they tried to siphon gas out of their own truck but then were able to find a gas container that gave us enough to get to an open station. They even called the station to make sure they were open and told us to call them if we ran out on the way and they would come with help. I tried to pay for the gas but they would not accept our money and just wanted us to pay it forward. Leaving this review is the least I can do - I'm sure if they treat strangers like this they will also treat customers of their bar, hotel and restaurant well. Thank you again, you saved our night!”
