I live out of province and ordered a gift card for my friend to deliver locally. The team went above and beyond customer services wise to help me include a card. So appreciative of that extra bit of effort.

Amazing store, I LOVE this place! I know it’s early but the Christmas decor is so exciting. Tons of high quality decorations for sale, as well as plants of course. There’s also a cute boutique with many unique pieces. Overall, Shelmerdine’s is an awesome place to spend the afternoon walking around - And you can find gifts/trinkets for almost anyone on your list!

Be Aware
I visited the clothing shop at Shelmerdine"s for the first time in the spring. A beautiful shop with beautiful and natural things. It was a little difficult to get the staff's attention, but I did buy a couple of things.
I didn't check the care instructions for my dress until a couple of months had passed and was surprised to find the following:
"This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm Made in China"
I was shocked that Shelmerdine's would carry a product that is an obvious hazard to a portion of their clientele.

We recently purchased 2 Green Wall Flowering Crabs. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and pleasant, but the young man who helped us deserves a special thank you. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful (even wrapped our planters and loaded our car) and he was so polite and well spoken. I didn't catch his name, but give that man a raise!

They charge you 50 cents for the cardboard trays for your plants!!! The variety of annual was adequate. Herbs were very expensive! Example: did foe $6;99!!
If you have anything to carry your plants, take it with you!!

The planters in the greenhouse are beautiful! Who ever makes them is extremely talented!! ? I love walking around the garden centre! Best way to spend a Sunday morning!
