Handed my income tax papers over 1 month ago. Phoned to ask when it would be completed and was told because I am receiving a return, my file is not a priority due to those customers who will owe and they are trying to get those done to avoid those customers paying interest on their amount owing. My file will be finalized sometime AFTER April 30. Will never use this H and R Block again.

I tried this place for the first time but I'm definitely not coming back. The one that filed my tax was friendly when I met him but didn't even fill up all necessary information to file my tax. I have called him 3 times since I got the notice in my mail that CRA has missing info that needs to be sent. I got a hold of him in the phone 3 times and he told me he will get to it but on December, I found out he never really did. In the end, I paid $2000 plus dollars due to missing information. My husband called him and asked what are we going to do now since were asked to pay $ 2,000 plus all he said is, "sorry it's so easy to be distracted". For a service I paid for someone, I couldnt even get I what paid for, instead it just gave me financial burden that I didn't expect or prepared for. I paid for it by myself on Christmas season. Since apparently if there is mistake in filing your tax your the only one paying for it even if you paid someone to file your tax for you.

Always maximize my return. Careful consideration of detail. Fees are reasonable. Highly recommended. File as early as you can as their services are in high demand.
