Birtle Centre for the Arts

Hours: Birtle Centre for the Arts is an art centre and gift shop, a not-for-profit organization managed by a volunteer board. The mission of The Birtle Centre for the Arts is to offer a safe and accessible space for members of our local and regional communities, where learning various visual arts, woodwork, metalwork, and creative gardening is encouraged and facilitated. The fully renovated space has 3 well equipped studios (pottery/carpentry/arts and sewing). Artisans and tradespeople teach classes for all ages. When classes are not scheduled, people are welcome to use the space and equipment for their own projects for a nominal drop-in fee. Clay can be purchased and pottery can be fired, including pieces not done in a class.
