Terrible and horrific for my dog. My very kind and people/dog friendly pooch was traumatized beyond words from this place. While waiting to get my dog I heard a young woman scream "SHUT UP!!!" To the animals confined in small cages. Also, an employee tightened my dogs collar to its tightest position. Grotesque and sick. If you care for your pet, find an alternative way to have it watched.

This is the best place to bring your dog when you’re going to the beach. The best part about this kennel is that they do daycare and when you’re boarding your dog there you can opt to have your dog included in the daycare session when they get to go and play with other dogs. But my favorite thing about this kennel is that for about an hour every morning they let you take your dog out of the kennel so your dog can go run around on the beach for an hour

Have been going here for a few years with our senior beagle mix Sunshine. Vanessa and her staff are PHENOMENAL!!!.....Place is well kept and feel like Sunshine is well cared for while we are on our family week in York Beach. Looking forward to seeing them again next year!!....Thanks York Bark and Play!!

Worked here years ago, there was an abusive employee whose poor actions towards dogs lead to a huge meeting other staff called with the owner of the facility. The owner did not take this seriously and continued to allow the abusive employee ***** continue working here and manager ******* defended ***** due to her being friends with her even though this woman bit a puppy to the point it screamed and slammed a dog into a heavy metal door head first. Due to this not being taken seriously the company lost their 4 great employees who actually loved dogs and took care of them.

York Bark and Play is amazing. We have left our dog, a Samoyed, for a day all the way up to 2 weeks. I never worry about him when he is there. The staff does a wonderful job, the kennel is clean, and it is great seeing the pictures and videos they post. 100% recommend ?

Peeko always has an amazing time at daycare , we practically have to drag him to the car. The staff is amazing and always accommodating to help arrange boarding for Peeko short notice with my hectic schedule. Thank you so much for all you do :)

This is the second time we've boarded our big, babyish Lab at York Bark and Play, for a long weekend, and once again they've done an excellent job of providing love, attention and care to our boy. He comes home tired and happy, probably barely misses us!Any dog parents who worry about a boarding experience should feel confidant about getting away, with your dog being happy!

My dog stayed here for 5 nights and he was so tired when I picked him up and seemed very relaxed and happy! He got a bath and nail trim there complimentary and definitely feel like he was well cared for! Thank you!
