I'm on vacation with my father in wells Maine and one morning we were going to go out for breakfast when my truck wouldn't start. Knowing some mechanics I ruled it out to be my fuel pump. So I gave wiggins auto a call and he answered on the first call. Told Nate the owner what was going on and he took the job right away and got it done in 2 days. great service. if I lived up here he would definitely be my machanic. My car broke down on the way home from college, 7 hours from home and Wiggin auto repair was the closest shop I could get a tow too. Nathan was extremely helpful and looked at my car right away even though he didn’t have any openings that day. He was very kind and very helpful and even offered me a place to stay if I needed one. I would definitely recommend him to anyone nearby.

While traveling from 300 miles away to Maine, lights on my dashboard started to turn on and my car wouldn’t go more than 10mph. Somehow, the car decided to stop completely right across the street from Nate’s garage. I called him after hours and he answered and allowed us to keep the car there overnight. Within 36 hours Nate fixed our problem and got us back on the road. He gave updates along the way and was very patient with us. Thanks Nate!Service: Engine repair

I was traveling to CT from Maine and had to pull off the highway due to an engine sputter.. Wiggin was able to fit me in last minute and fixed a very stupid mistake made by my regular garage. I want to give a big shout out to Nate of Wiggin’s Auto Repair. He came through for us in a pinch. He did a complicated repair in a timely fashion for a reasonable price when no other garage would even look at the car.My son has a rare Japanese import that needed a total clutch replacement. We live in Portsmouth and had 3 different garages turn us down for the repair. They said it was too complicated for most of their technicians and too much of a time suck. Thankfully friends in Maine directed us to Nate. He took the job in with no hesitation and successfully completed it as quickly as possible. He was easy to get a hold of and was responsive to our questions and needs. My son is thrilled to have his “baby” back. Thanks, Nate!!Service: Transmission

Broke down in York while passing by. My insurance recommended them as the nearest repair shop. The owner was able to diagnose and replace the broken alternator in my car in about a day/day and a half. However he did tell me my back brakes were bare metal and I need to get them replaced asap. Knowing I had my car looked at by several mechanics just a few months ago (fluid checks, oil change, tire rotation, alignment, fixing a flat tire), I had never been informed my brakes were in such bad shape. On the cautious side I decided to wait until back in CT to bring her to a mechanic a family member recommended. They looked at her for free and didn't find anything wrong saying my brake pads were still about halfway through their life. I've been to many mechanics for my car and being a young women always have to be cautious about not being screwed over. I always reccomend speaking to multiple people about any repair needed on your car, or if you get someone you know and trust to stick with them.
