My only complaint is the automated answering system they have. Store/pharmacy seems fine, but their phone line system is for the birds,, save yourself,, just hang up.

Called the pharmacy, after a long hold, the pharmacist picked up to say she’s busy, I said I can leave a message, she went on to hang up on me anyway without saying anything. Very unprofessional. Will find another pharmacy

I never thought I would miss Rite Aid but Walgreens is terrible. Customer service is non existent. My wife gets the same prescription filled every six months, after two years using Walgreens they have never filled it correctly, every time they say they will make a note in the system and every time they mess up the order. Not only do they make a mistake but they are rude and blame my wife. We will be moving to a new pharmacy.

Decent pharmacy. Some staff rougher around the edges but working in a pharmacy isnt the easiest job yknow.Snack, liquor, and food selection is fair to good for a pharmacy

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The medication is never ready when they say it will be. Called yesterday and they said 10AM yesterday - went to pick up today and medication still not ready. And they are not apologetic or understanding at all. I know pharmacists are busy and overworked (I'm a nurse) but at least tell the customer an honest time when the medication will be ready.

Sometimes the pharmacy is open on weekends, most times not. As someone who works during the week, this presents a inconvenience. Will be moving all prescription needs to another pharmacy. Done with this Walgreens.

Sure maybe not the best pharmacy ever, but it’s fine. No pharmacy we’ve tried in the area is actually that great. That said, the reviewer who wrote this really nailed it. We all know who this person is and cringe when she is waiting on us.“The blonde lady with the spiky haircut is usually responsible for the worst part of my day, when I have to go to Walgreens. It's as if any request you have, even a completely reasonable one well within the scope of her job, is the biggest possible inconvenience and on top of that you've insulted her by asking.I go to pick up my prescriptions with the same exact process every time. No one else has trouble with it. But when it's her, she's extremely rude, and runs into issues no one else has trouble with and acts like they're my fault.”

This location deserves better ratings. The fault of one pharamacist is not indicative of the whole store. The employees are always cheerful, willing to help and answer questions and offer alternatives is they don't carry a product. I highly recommend them!

My family has used this location as a primary pharmacy for years, but has recently transferred to competitor. It is unfortunate what has happened, but there is nothing to be done.Essentially, the store has suffered from chronic understaffing. The employees have done their best to provide quality service, but you can tell it has worn them down. This has led to incorrect information being supplied, including prescriptions being overlooked, forcing us to go to other locations for medications which are not optional.The pharmacy aside, the rest of the store is showing clear signs of neglect from understaffing. It has become so bad that they are closing during the weekends. Even the best staff can't save a location from ongoing mismanagement.tl;dr avoid this location if you can. Go down the street to Hannaford.

Blonde lady at the pharmacy is a rude. Plain nasty. And for such a lovely town like York it's a shame. I see so many complaint about her too. I'm not sure how she's still working there.

Pharmacy abruptly and apparently permanently closed on Friday. Tried again on Saturday. Also closed. People at the front said they don't know why no one showed up to work. Same thing again on Saturday. Nice job Walgreens. I need my prescriptions that are ready to be picked up and now I don't know what to do.

The pharmacist was a total j*** to me! I had a question on my prescription and he was so rude and told me he's been a pharmacist for 30 years blah blah and that the medicine my doctor and I wanted doesn't exist. Not a nice person at all!! I was hung up on and put on hold before I even got ahold of him too. Worst place to go for meds!! Shame on him for treating patients like they are stupid!
