Sam was AMAZING to say the least. I thought they closed at 5pm, not 4:30 so i show up at 4:15 and i go in, totally unprepared with a bunch of stuff to ship to Georgia. No box, no tape, nothing. She weighed my items, picked my box, put my box TOGETHER, explained my options to ship it.. Sam did this with such fluent ease and kindness, i will only go there from now on. She really made the whole thing quite pleasurable. THANK YOU Sam!!!

The girls that work in this office are great. I can always get my questions answered. I have had a PO Box for a year now and have had no problems.

Completely done with this post office. What's the point of even having a post office box when all your packages get sent back?! First, the zip code for this office is different than the zip code for the street on which it is located. They don't tell you this when you rent a box here. If you enter the zip code that the street has, your mail will be sent back. Every single package I have ordered from Amazon and Walmart have been returned. And I've tried entering my street address as well as this joke of a po box address. Went in to get a money order and the woman behind the desk says you have to have an ID to use a debit card. Really?? Since when, the dark ages? I've bought countless money orders from other post offices and never had to have an ID. The people here are not friendly at all and act like they are doing you some big favor by being there. Decided to take my business somewhere else. I'll be getting a box at UPS. Don't fool with this pathetic excuse for a post office.

I've been going to this Post Office for several years. And yes, as other Yelpers have complained, I have had to wait longer than I felt I should have. But I look at all sides of things. The reduction in manpower. Cost cutting. It makes it hard on the employees. This has happened in all businesses. There are a few remedies for customers who have postal complaints, problems. But evidently they're unaware of them, or just to lazy to follow up on their postal problems. The next time you are there, get your receipt, and the clerks name. The post office has a web site, it's FREE. It's USPS.COM You can voice your concerns. Also, maybe go a bit earlier. If you are concerned about the cost of mailing a letter due to the weight of it. Buy an extra stamp at a store and drop it in the drive by mailbox so you don't have to wait in line. A bit of humor with this statement, LOL. Once again,,,don't forget your "receipt" and "clerks name", speak your piece on their website. (USPS.COM) Or write a letter via "snail mail".

The customer service on the phone for this location is extremely rude. I tried to ask a question and they assumed they knew what my problem was and explained something unnecessary multiple times in a row. If you need to mail something, go to a different location, even if it is farther away. Unfortunately this is the location I have to deal with for my mail, so I don't have a choice. Expect rudeness, and you won't be disappointed.

This is the worst post office in Rochester! It used to be bad - but now it's worse! All of the long time staff have retired or transferred and the new staff is horrible. All they do is talk to each other while waiting on customers. I don't want to hear about their stories, I want to mail my package and get out. Poor customer service. Poor manners. Poor management. Poor, poor, poor.
