The station is not open 24 hours. Tried to go fuel up at 9 pm on a Saturday night, place was dark. Please adjust the posted hours.

I've been going to Maine for years and happened upon Anthony's from online reviews this trip. I'm very glad I did as one trip led to two more in the space of a couple days! Everything we bought exceeded our expectations from the huge meat loaded sandwiches to the hot out of the oven pizza by the slice. We tried it all, from the lunch counter to the huge beautifully decorated baked goods to the coffee counter. They even had premade salads and dinners. The service was fast and friendly. Dont let the gas station exterior fool you and give it a try. You'll definitely be back!

Usually, there are seemingly unlimited things to like about this place. When the adults are working... March 5th 2024, we went (on the way to another state. And in such a hurry ... we didn't cook at home....) here to Anthony's. The adults took the order and then when coming to check on what took so long.. young one piped up and said ... she handed it to lady at end of counter, earlier. (someone else). No apologies. Just. Like that was too bad for me.... it just happened. Okay... so... I just order it all again.... yup. Okay. Now. This has by far been the worst of my visits. They make great food and try to give it at a good price. I Just ask Please. Teach the young girl to be nice when the bad news comes and it's difficult. So we don't have to talk our husband's into staying..we know mistakes happen..but the conversational delivery was so below average. We still want to feel like this IS the cool place we thought. (there was no other kind of compensation offered...). Dad-shirt kid was only one who said sorry as he handed over our food.. so. I only threw the cook a $5.cause he did not drop any balls.

This is a very popular spot for sandwiches, bagels, and coffee. You may grab some gas from the adjacent station, too. There a reason this place is always bustling!

We stopped by for a quick lunch, pizza by the slice, one was plenty for me as they were huge! The baked goodies looked great but were too full. Heading back there in the morning for coffee and bagels while staying in the York area.

I recommended Anthony's to some tourists and, in a condescending tone, told me they would never eat in a gas station. Little do they know that Anthony's is a little gem with a great Cafe, bakery, prepared food section, beer fridge, and makers of some of the best sandwiches in the area. I especially enjoy their little sitting area where you can enjoy your meal without being bothered. I've never been disappointed. This place rocks!

When I started making regular visits to York, Maine I was told that there was a gas station that served great food out on Route 1 not far from Stonewall Kitchen. I was dubious. I've seen too many AM/PM or Extra Mile or Circle K shops inside gas stations, and I wasn't sure I believed it. Now I believe. The right way to think of Anthony's is that it's a good pizza shop and bakery that just happens to have gas pumps out front. I'm pretty sure they bake all of the pies and cakes and bagels on the premises; they certainly taste like they were baked this morning. I've eaten food from Anthony's about half a dozen times now, and the quality has been consistently excellent. I live in California, so I can't say I go to Anthony's regularly, but whenever I am nearby, I always stop in to get something.

It's a gas station but they brew their old cold brew, have fantastic pizza by the slice, subs made to order, and have a full bakery. For what this place is, they exceed all expectations.

Not a very good place to order by phone. First time I called, put on hold, after 2 mins I called again, same thing, last time, no answer.
