Rose Cronin. Jim Kennedy was my PT for many weeks. He was fantastic! My quads pain for quite awhile and he healed them!

PT assistant and office staff are very friendly and helpful. James is cocky and was on the computer researching hotels for himself and his girlfriend during my session. Unattentive to say the least.

I have been a patient for a few weeks now. Everyone there makes you feel comfortable. I know it’s going to take some time to heal but feel they are going to help me :)

Great overall experience. The entire staff is professional and understanding my individual needs. Without question one of the best experiences with Physical Therapy, give them a chance and then write your own opinion. I appreciate all they do and will appreciate them even more when I no longer require their assistance :)

I wanted to share my very positive experience at saco bay PT in york, me. I usually HATE going to PT as i find it tedious and boring. However after knee replacement surgery i had no choice and needed to find a good facility.I have loved my experience w Jim. He is knowledgeable, patient, attentive and a good listener. My doc prescribed a very particular regimen and jim has faithfully followed it while adding challenging and thoughtful exercises. I am never bored, usually quite challenged and have made outstanding progress post surgery. It is definitely a busy practice but never have i felt my care was compromised. I am very grateful to both Jim and Bob for their incredible care and i appreciate going to PT in such a positive, upbeat environment!

This is mostly about Saco Bay's management. This place is more like a factory than a place to get better. On my last appointment, there were six people in and out within one hour. There was one PT working. Some patients were just finishing and others starting but my PT was always working on three to people at once. I asked not to be triple booked multiple times and it kept happening.Patients need to have someone watch them do their exercises. Posture, form and brain retraining is part of the rehab process. It's impossible to do that with that many patients. People also end up standing around waiting for what to do.My appointments started late at least three times because my PT was busy with others. It's just unacceptable to expect one PT to work with that many patients. In terms of the PT itself, there was minimal progression over eight weeks. Overworking one therapist like that likely accounts for the lack of changes to my exercises or treatment overall. I've done PT several times and this was the least effective treatment I've had.I'm glad many others have benefitted from Saco Bay. Some patients may not have a choice of where they go or had a different experience than I did. But I had several choices for PT and these are things I wish I had known before making my decision.

One of the best places you can go for physical therapy! Bob is my PT provider and I cannot stop raving about him. He has been awesome to work with. He has a great attitude, answer questions to his knowledge, and will push you. In just a month I have gone from barely being able to walk to being able to get up and down the stairs. Thank you so much bob!!

Bob was so methodical and progressive with my therapy. His approach encouraged comfort And bravery on my part. He also was meticulous in how I moved my arm- stretching not too high, adjusting the weights or tweaking my stance. I am quickly regaining the mobility and strength in my shoulder. Thank you, Bob and Saco P T

I got shoulder surgery done in December and just months later was back with practically full range of motion and strength, just in time to continue playing field hockey. I am very thankful to have had such great physical therapists available to help me at both the Gorham and York locations. Specifically Bob Coughlin was an exceptional physical therapist making each session both productive and fun, pointing out improvements made each week to ensure consistent motivation for me through such a long recovery. As I was in college, he maintained contact through emailing me to check in and send new stretches and exercises to do while keeping in contact with my athletic trainer which was all very helpful. Bob's knowledge, experience and great attitude made PT enjoyable while giving me the complete confidence in rebuilding my strength and abilities I had prior to my injury. Thank you so much Saco Bay Physical Therapy, I couldn't be more thankful!

Jacklyn Wagner, PT at Saco Bay Physical Therapy in York, ME is a great asset. Saco Bay PT is very lucky to have her as one of the therapists. Jacklyn shows great concern for her patients. She actively works to find solutions for the issue. She has elevated my view of physical therapy.
