The best part about this kennel is that they do daycare and when you’re boarding your dog there you can opt to have your dog included in the daycare session when they get to go and play with other dogs. But my favorite thing about this kennel is that for about an hour every morning they let you take your dog out of the kennel so your dog can go run around on the beach for an hour

1359 US-1, Cape NeddickShould you find yourself in southern Maine and suddenly the hankering for a hot dog begins to take hold, follow me . I’ll take you to this unassuming red building in Cape Neddick neatly tucked off the roadside with a sign that beckons, stating matter of factly “ FLO’s Steamed Hot Dogs” herein you will find several ways to dress your HD but most famously the choice is often the classic FLO’s HOUSE DOG. A Steamed dog , adorned with FLO’s special relish , mayo, celery salt and ensconced in a nice steamed bun. The tang of the relish, the hit of the celery salt combined with the richness of the mayo really makes a delectable dog for the enthusiast. I also ordered a Loaded Dog which is like the house dog with a dormer added on in the form of onions which I promptly wolfed down with gusto. I am not sure what legacy Flo’s holds amongst the hordes of Hot Dog devotees but she has brought this one to her table as a life long fan. And if leaving vacation land has you wishing your stay was longer you can take a jar of Flo’s relish home with you as they offer jars of it for sale to enjoy anywhere you like.

33 Railroad Ave, YorkThis is a small brewery that packs a punch. Great beers, bartenders and atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating some umbrella tables and an event tent. The food was from a food truck, cannot remember the name but tasty lobster rolls and clam chowder. We went for trivia night but missed the piano bar the next night. This will be on our radar on our next visit.

2 Stonewall Ln #1, YorkSure, the store is wonderful, and we always leave with soaps, jams, and cake mixes. But the cafe is always our first stop. Excellent soup plus the best sandwiches within 100 miles. Today I had the turkey, apple, and cheddar panini. Fabulous! My wife had the seared haddock sandwich, one of her Stonewall Kitchen favorites. Always great.\n Most visitors don't think of Stonewall Kitchen as a restaurant, but you really won't find better sandwiches anywhere. Well worth a visit just for the food.

60 Shore Rd, Cape NeddickJanet and the crew at Cape Neddick Lobster Pound made our first Lobster meal in Maine so special! Janet was so great at guiding us to our food choices and everything we had fed our crew of 7 perfectly! Even our pickiest eaters devoured the food! For 7 people we got a bowl of stew, the Harbor Sampler, 2 lobster rolls and a lobster. Janet was amazing!!!!
