“Mixed about this store .. they have a ton of Maine shirts and sweatshirts.. also have all of our sports teams. A bunch of other items as well.. I brought 3 pairs of earrings. Maybe I wasn't that excited because I didn't even look at the clothes.. it was like the 10 souvenir place I went to it was first thing in the morning I may have just not have been in the mood for shopping”

“I signed my wife and I up for a tea mixing class at Société last week. I'm not a tea drinker, but my wife absolutely loves tea. Since it was her 30th birthday, I wanted to do something special and different, which is exactly what this class was! Typically scheduled for an hour and a half, our teacher (and owner of the shop) was very thorough and engaging, which extended the program to about 2 hours. We tried 5 or so different teas of a variety of styles ranging from a cleanse, Chai, holiday special, and a black tea for some caffeine. Like I mentioned at the start, I don't drink tea...since that class, I've had 3 cups, and shared our learnings with family and friends (who also have fallen in love with the Chai we brought home). In addition to the tastings, everyone that attends the class is given a free jar of any tea they would like. When I told my wife a few days ago that I let my dad try the teas we brought home, she was (jokingly) angry that it meant she would have 1 less cup worth of tea now. Even if you don't sign up for the class, Société is a must visit for any tea drinker!!”

“I was very impressed with the selection of soaps and fine men's products. The store is connected to the candy shop next door so naturally I had to explore both, and left with some great items! You will definitely find something for anyone and some great gift items too :) I was thrilled to see some new products I haven't been able to find elsewhere. Purchased the Preston line of men's body wash and lotion in the amber scent and they both smell incredible. They also have a huge selection of Beekman 1802 products which are also amazing.”

“Ogunquit has so many great shops, and The Lazy Daisy is one of them. It's a women's boutique with mostly clothing and accessories that have great styling, colors and designs and that also have several Maine and nautical themes (plus daisies, of course). I loved their designer leather purses and jewelry.”
“I happened on the Hazel Boutique when I went to the Salt Cellar. The entrance to the Salt Cellar is through Hazel Boutique’s doorway and then to the staircase that goes downstairs. With items from over 30 designers mostly from the West Coast and Europe, one won’t find common clothes that one sees in mall department stores there. It’s unlikely that one will see clothes purchased from Hazel Boutique on other women. Hazel Boutique carries timeless styles, not trendy items that are in fashion this season and out of fashion the next. I would call it investment clothing because it can be worn for many years without looking dated. As I browsed the store, I found all kinds of tops, skirts, pants, sweaters, long cardigans, dresses, jackets, scarves, handbags, totes, hats, and jewelry. One European designer I liked was Catherine Andre from France. The clothes from that line are matched or coordinated outfits tailored for a comfortable fit and can be worn casually or accessorized for a more dressed-up look. Catherine Andre also makes accessories to go with the outfits ~ mostly scarves and belts. Many of the clothes sold there are made of textured fabrics. That adds to the distinctiveness of the fine clothing sold there. I found the staff courteous and attentive to customers. I rate Hazel Boutique at 5.0 and recommend a visit.
