I've been shopping at Bill & bobs for over 30 years. The staff has always been very friendly and goes above and beyond for me. The selection of merchandise is 5 stars. I've never gone in looking for a certain item "I've purchased before" and wanted to give as a gift and not found it. They've even ordered special items for me. Love, love, love this store.Thank u Bill & Bob's and staff

I come to York Beach every summer for the past 30 years, even hosting my wedding in York. Every summer, my whole family and I shop at Bill and Bob's, buying a piece of jewelry for 5-6 family members every year, spending a fair amount of money each year. I recently purchased a necklace for myself for an upcoming wedding. When I got home, I could not find my bag, and have reason to think after taking an emergency phone call from my husband, had reason to think I put the bag down in the store. I immediately returned to the store-and the other 2 stores I had been in. Everyone in the other stores were super helpful, helping me look, offering to take my number, just being generally helpful. The staff at Bill and Bob's however could not have been less helpful and more rude. They acted as if I was a bother in trying to locate my necklace. No one offered to take my number in case it turned up. No one helped me look, and after explaining what happened, the final comment from the man I bought it from told me "well, no one has turned it in and we did not see any spare bags, so I guess that's a hard no."So he is right-it is a hard NO. My family and I will continue to come to York Beach every year and none of us will EVER shop at this store again.

Extremely rude customer service and rude workers. Rings are cheap and break easily. Do not recommend and will never be going back after the rude associates

I always visit this store when I'm in York as they have a wonderful selection. I was here a few days before my wedding and needed 4 of the same necklace for the ladies in my wedding. However, they only had two but they went above and beyond to get me all four! They are so accommodating and I can't thank them enough! Please visit if you are in town, you won't be disappointed!

I came to York to visit my friend while on vacation. As I entered it was beautiful and well maintained. However the staff was incredibly rude.I had asked the gentleman working about the rings and he spoke to me as if I were stupid. I felt as though I was wasting his time.If you are planning on being welcomed and greeted with respect, I would steer clear of Bill and Bob’s. I am sure there are plenty of other places with great hospitality!

Just found this store while vacationing, let’s just say I’m glad I live outside Boston,I could do so real damage at this store, purchases 4 items. The staff was so friendly and accommodating!! They appreciate their customers, and it shows. Till next mother daughter road trip! But I just noticed you can order……. OH BOY!

I came here yesterday with a few friends and we were trying on rings. (I usually have a hard time finding rings that fit because my fingers are so small.) We had only been in the store about 5 minutes when the man at the counter took the rings out of our hands and said “I think you’re all done looking at the rings.” He was extremely rude and stared us down until we exited the store. Overall, horrible customer service.

I have known them for about 35 years they are great...my wife bought a crushed opal pinkie ring in silver years ago and it is gorgeous and catches a lot of attention!!! great prices!!!!

Very personable retailer. He is astute and attentive. Told us the full pricing, the warranty information, and the story behind the items and store. Definitely recommend this place. Great jewelry, great prices.
