If I could give them a ZERO I could! I am APPALLED at the way my husband was treated at this establishment! He has had two major shoulder surgeries in the last six months and just finished physical therapy. They recommend yoga as an ongoing treatment for his injuries. As an Independent Contractor he starts early, so their 6-7 class seemed like a good fit. He arrived there this morning parked and went to the door, it was locked so he returned to his work van to wait. Another woman entered, so he followed but they locked the door in his face. A cruiser then arrived and the officer began to question him. Why was he there? He certainly doesn’t look like the yoga type! Why pull on the door handle? (Of an place that was open) They even demanded a SOBRIETY test! Eventually he was let go, but this is absolute discrimination! You should be ashamed.

I love this studio, instructors & location! They have many class offerings to meet your needs and the instructors are great at offering options depending on your level within each class. The owners are local & very involved in the business which I also appreciate.

This is a lovely studio. They offer excellent Yin and Vinyasa classes, and some very cool workshops (a reiki/yoga infusion workshop, to name one). I've practiced Yin with several teachers at this studio now, including the owner, Amy Sedgewick - and the owner's Yin class was *phenomenal*. She is also a Dr. and understands how the body works from a western medicine perspective. We did some AMAZING fascia-breaking up yin postures (using gravity/passivity to break up fascia). She has also ordered sandbags to help further the passive yin stretches. (I can't wait for that.) Her class specifically is a very cool mixture of western/eastern approaches. The Vinyasa style in the one Vinyasa class I took was a nice, meditative pace. Definitely not bootcamp style (thank goodness). They have a peaceful studio that is small, and I have been to a couple of crowded classes, but during the day it's nice and spacious.

I absolutely Love Riverbend. The instructors are amazing! I had a severe ankle injury and they were very accommodating and gave me helpful modifications so I would be able to continue my practice. It's a beautiful space and I've always had great experiences there. Very welcoming to every person. I highly recommend It!
