“What a great witchy store! It was recommended to me by a local friend. I saw that they also offer readings inside. The selection of merch was definitely unique. My husband appreciated that there was educational material as well.”

123 Main St, Freeport“As an English expat visiting from Arizona, I was thrilled to find this shop. Their grocery items are really fresh too, not like the close to expiring stuff you usually find at Amazon. I bought a bag of Quality Street for my sister and some Twiglets for myself. I only wish I had had more time to look around and that I'd bought another bag of Twiglets. Wonderful, helpful staff! Wish we lived closer!”

Cody was such a personable employee and knowledgeable about everything in the shop,he was such a help in selecting a ring for my wife's birthday gift. If you're in Freeport, I totally recommend Crystal Joys.”
“Such a big place! There's a lot to see. My toddler enjoyed all the mobiles hanging up and the children's books upstairs. This is a delicate store tho so kids must be watched!
We found gifts for everyone here as they have everything from jam to wool socks.
Owners were kind and helpful and easy to talk to!
The only issue we had was parking.”

111 Commercial St, Portland“We've been to their Quechee flagship store and glassblowing studio, where the Simon Pearce artisans create beautiful works of art, so being able to visit their Portland retail store is great. They have gorgeous handblown glass drinkware, serveware, lighting, candle holders, pumpkins, animals, and other items. We especially love the evergreen trees. They also have hardwood bowls, trays, cutting boards, etc. and pottery. ”
“I come to Portland Maine at least once a year and always go straight to Jen’s studio. I love her designs and the “primitive” feel of her jewelry. I’ve pretty much given up wearing any of my other jewelry.”

24 Bow St, Freeport“Nice Staff, open and clean store with Quality Apparel. I am happy with all of the shirts that I had purchased. Although they did not have fishing gear, they did have items for dogs. Great shopping experience.!.”
“Absolutely love this store! Whenever I visit from California I make it a point to stop in here and buy something. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Everything here is beautiful and a great value. Highly recommend stopping here when checking out Portland!”
“Awesome unique shop with something for everyone! Women’s and men’s clothes. Various home goods and accessories. Best of all dog friendly! The workers were all so sweet and helpful. Got some awesome BYGO half off deals too. Super cute shop and totally recommend.”
“The food is frankly phenomenal - it's themed around delicious Cajun fare, but your traditional bar staples (*cough* try the fries *cough*) are also absurdly good.
The cosy atmosphere is reminiscent of Cheers, there is frequent live music, and the best part is that (outside of live performances) they don't blast the music! You can hear yourself think and have a conversation without yelling, a rarity these days.
Bonus points because all their stools/chairs solidly touch ground with all four legs, so no wobbling all night because you got the dud seat.
Gardens outside for those who are into plants, and an eclectic consignment store right next door for that good wandering.
Haven't tried the breakfast/brunch menu yet, but excited to go back for that.”
“Really nice JoAnn's with tons of fabric! I found everything I was looking for for my most recent project with ease (and maybe a bit more, haha). The only weird thing is that the store was dead silent, I guess all the crafting goods stacked high capture the sound like a noise cancelling barrier. In any case, I was very pleased and happy I found some material I was struggling to find anywhere else.”
10AM - 6PM
191 Middle St, Portland“Such a tranquil shop to be found in downtown Portland. The Mrs. said she had a feeling that she'd find a new crystal while we're here, and this is the place we found it. The specimens are amazing, the variety extensive, and the environment is very welcoming. Everything about this place was great, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend if you're looking for crystals for yourself or as a gift for another.”
“Working with their staff to select flooring and wall tiles for our home. Their personnel are outstanding....thank you Sarah and Mark. Their countless selections can accommodate any design preferences. This is my second time working with this establishment. They always exceed my expectations. Highly recommend this place!”

“Nestled in the second oldest surviving building in Portland this hidden gem is a must see. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful textiles you will ever see or feel this is a must stop if you are in Portland if for no other reason than to see the amazing decor and gorgeous original architecture showcasing these beautiful blankets and throws, candles and accessories. This place is is amazing eye candy for all of your senses. The brainchild of two life long Mainers it is a constant flux of new colors and materials which won’t disappoint. Hans is a wealth of energy and information and couldn’t be more helpful and has been an incredible guide every time I’ve stopped With textiles featured in the guest rooms of The Canopy hotel and the showrooms of Chilton furniture I was thrilled to eventually find this showroom nestled in the heart of Portland harbor.Having made multiple purchases I can attest to the quality and longevity of their products as well as the beauty it provides for your home.If you are in Portland and love beauty, charm, comfort or simply architecture do not dare to miss this shop. And tell Hans I sent you (I’m sure he won’t remember me but it sounds so connected doesn’t it?)”
“Chilton sells some of the most beautiful hand-made furniture in New England. Their clean, elegant designs are executed my skilled woodworkers all over New England. The table we purchased is a simple live edge design but it draws your eye immediately--graceful and lovely.”
