Not only is M.A. Stork a coin dealer and appraisal shop, it also has certain collectibles. During our visit the owner "Sullivan" was very engaging to speak with, friendly and honest.
I am a collector of Russian boxes and it was a very pleasant surprise to find two of them. I bought one at a very fair price and part my change was comprised of a two dollar bill. Such a nice touch! It is currently my "lucky 2" and proudly displayed on my mirror at home.
There also was a gorgeous "Spessartine on Microcline" specimen that I did not purchase at the time. I contacted Sullivan, had a great conversation and it was shipped to me promptly. I am thrilled beyond belief.
Travelers to Freeport, do make a point to stop in and browse at M.A. Stork, you will not be disappointed!”

“Everytime I deal with Joe whether it be to buy, pawn or sell, he’s always fair with his rates and he’s more than understandable when it comes to extensions. I would highly recommend Stinson and Co. not just for financial fairness, but he treats his customers with respect. Thanks Joe!”
“Truly a sanctuary for people with an appreciation for architecture and interior design. Eclectic and huge, run by an extremely knowledgeable and helpful owner and friendly staff. Rare to meet a business owner who is an absolute expert in their field, on site most days and a funny, jovial person!”
“The food is frankly phenomenal - it's themed around delicious Cajun fare, but your traditional bar staples (*cough* try the fries *cough*) are also absurdly good.
The cosy atmosphere is reminiscent of Cheers, there is frequent live music, and the best part is that (outside of live performances) they don't blast the music! You can hear yourself think and have a conversation without yelling, a rarity these days.
Bonus points because all their stools/chairs solidly touch ground with all four legs, so no wobbling all night because you got the dud seat.
Gardens outside for those who are into plants, and an eclectic consignment store right next door for that good wandering.
Haven't tried the breakfast/brunch menu yet, but excited to go back for that.”
“This is how a group should be! Clean, well lit and full of cool stuff. It has all eras, great nautical, great period furnishings, a mix of MCM and nice smalls and good art. 3 floors to boot and the lighting is rwally good. It’s clean and the staff is FRIENDLY and ATTENTIVE!. This should be a model for other group shops on the east coast. These are pics of my favorite dealer but all are great! I’m Looking forward to my next visit to Freeport ME.”

I'm always amazed in what I'd find. This is not your place if your looking for $10 thrifts. This is a serious shop that has great bargains for a beautiful house. The owners are easy to talk to and are always willing to find that special item on your wish list.”
“Great shop to visit often. Lots of great art. Oils, water colors , prints and sculpture. Something for everyone and every home. Attractive prices too. Check it out”
