We visited this gallery on our way from Kennebunkport to Southport and I am glad we did. Not only did we enjoy the work of owner/artist Keith Oehmig, but we had the opportunity to talk with him. Also, two of the works hanging in the gallery were done by James Fitzpatrick who is famous for paintings he did while living on Monhegan Island.

Our family has enjoyed everything about this lovely gallery for many years. It was first recommended to us as the place to view and buy high quality early 20th century seascapes, particularly watercolors painted by Samuel Triscott and William T. Richards. The website is so perfectly organized that it is easy to find any item in the collection by artist or genre or subject matter or nationality. Fun to zero in or browse. Full time access even when the gallery is closed.Telephone calls to the gallery with questions are invariably answered graciously and knowledgeably.A thing of beauty is a joy forever. That must surely be the motto of this business. Enjoy.

Walked into this shop while visiting the area, got to meet the owners who took the time to show me around and talk about some of the lovely pieces they have in their gallery. Was an amazing experience and will definitely visit again.

This gallery has paintings and sculpture, all high quality. You are welcome to browse, there will be no pressure on you to buy. The owner, is an artist whose work can be seen along with many other artists, American and European. I have bought art from this gallery. They are very good to do business with.

The web site is excellent--they 'specialize in fine nineteenth through twenty-first century American and European paintings,' with an emphasis on Maine artists.They rotate their holdings, so check their web page or phone ahead.They'll let you 'try out' a piece of art in your home.WHEELCHAIR--you have to ask, but they can bring you in the back door with a 2' threshold to clear.

Excellent art gallery in Wiscasset. Wonderful selection of Maine paintings and modern art. Large gallery with many rooms. The owner loaned my son an etch a sketch to entertain him while we shopped, so nice of her. Extremely pleasant display and gallery with nice hard large hard wood barn floors and high ceilings. Wonderful gallery. Right on main street in Wiscasset.
