The owner was super friendly and knowledgable on his crafts! I bought a really neat bunny chocolate mold and can't wait to make some for Easter. A definite place to visit as it is super unique!

When in Wiscasset, I always visit this shop. I love their cinnamon-scented, cranberry-colored beeswax ornaments that are made from chocolate, cookie, and candy molds, and I like their antique Santas and other Christmas items. I especially like their antique buttermold castings with all kinds of motifs including pineapples, cows, anchors, sheep, etc. They also have candles, framed art, wall hangings, wooden crafts, and lots of folk art. The courtyard that you go through before entering the shop is filled with hanging baskets of flowers and birdhouses for purchase, and some sculptures.

Going to this shop is a fun New England experience. It's in a rustic barn attached to one of Wiscasset's older gems, with an apple tree above that sheds the rather strong smell of nostalgia, Halloween and apple pie unto the whole browsing experience, even in the height of August. The shop is held in the barn ( follow the hand painted signs) where you can find food grade molds and stamps for butter and decorative objects for the house, xmas tree, and yard, all inspired by antique butter molds and stamp designs. This shop is a must see. If you like Pennsylvania Dutch and New England-ish folk design you'll like this place. Everyone needs to stop in and buy as least a cinnamon scented wax ornament for their xmas tree. Store is off the beaten path about 50 ft from Main st.

A great stop to make while visiting Maine. Whimsical store with an impressive collection of butterstamp molds, cutouts, and other related items. The owner, Louise, has a great collection and is very knowledgeable on the subject. They also sell holiday ornaments made using those stamps from wax and cinnamon. Makes for a great and authentic souvenir to take home. One of the highlights of our trip.

Great store. My family and I have stopped in and purchased items for the past ten years. The owner never remembers us. :(

I try to stop in every time I'm in the area. The shop is very neat and has awesome folk/vintage items that are hand made. I got a beeswax candle that looks like a beehive, my mum got a wax ornament made from a wooden butter stamp. The woman who owns the place is nice, and knows a lot, be prepared to be well informed
