trying to talk to someone is impossible. the mailman on my road is rude. they say your mailbox needs to be fixed and when you fix it they still don't deliver my mail.

I wish I could give 0 star review. This post office is the absolute worst. My packages never get delivered there is always an issue and I end up having to go down to the post office. My mailbox is always left open getting my mail soaked every time it rains. The post office absolutely never answers the phone. Every time I have to go down there I get an attitude. I understand they are short staffed but this has been going on for way too long and nothing is being done about it.

I have contacted them twice with issues regarding increment weather and package delivery. They have been outstanding both times! Thank you!

So first I look up the phone number on Google. They give me a one 800 number that refuses to let me speak to someone. I called it four times and went through dozens of prompts and none of them pertain to my issue. Then I find the actual phone number listed a little further down for our post office in Winthrop Maine. So I called that Number and it says that it is disconnected. It is no wonder why they get such a lousy rating. My issue is that I can almost tell that it’s going to rain by the delivery person. Every time the mailbox is left open it rains in my mail gets soaked. It has barely Rained here for almost a month and the mailbox was never left open but of course today it was left open and half of the mail was soaked. I guess the driver didn’t care about the mail he was more concerned about his arm getting wet to close the door on the box.

In a time when the US government has to compete for customers with UPS and providers, I find it very intriguing that there are no phone numbers that you can dial where you can speak to somebody. It is very frustrating when the automation on these phone numbers does not offer the information you need and then does not offer you the option to speak with someone. All I want to know is if they close at lunchtime because I need to pick up some certified mail. At a time when the US government is struggling for work their hours are so minimal it makes it impossible for people that work to seek out their services. I guess I will keep this in mind when I decide whether to pay my bills electronically or through the mail. The US government needs to up their customer service skills if they want to survive in the postal industry.

The mailman NEVER delivers my packages. Instead, he says that he attempted delivery and requires me to pick it up at the post office. I am disabled and do not drive. It is less than 1/2 mile from the mailbox on the main road to our home. Therefore, it is his duty to deliver. We have complained to the post office several times , but the carrier continues this behavior.
