“Come down to Portland from Saint John, New Brunswick a few times a year and Maine Vintage Toys will now be a must visit each time. Super cool items, fair prices and the owners and their young son are all very nice, friendly and good people. Pop in for a visit, you’ll be happy you did.”
“Other than having your child pick a bear or other animal to have stuffed I had no idea how Build-A-Bear worked before walking in the door there on Dec. 28th. And of course being Christmas week and the kids off school the place was crazy busy.But I have to say I was so impressed with all the young people working that day. They had smiles on their faces and were polite and helpful in answering my questions. My little 7-year-old Friend was just so happy with her new stuffed dragon Toothless that she left with.I'd highly recommend this Build-A-Bear location!!P.S.- when I commented while checking out on how happy I was with my experience I was shocked to learn that they actually were a little shorthanded that day. “I give these people 5 stars bc they deserve it. Im from texas could not find a hobby shop here, went there , bought a arrma vorteks and had a few starting issues and they resolved 2 for free and the 3rd was cheap. Labor was cheap, and quick. Over all, great store!!”

“This place is a true hole in the wall for trading cards of all kinds. I just recently got back in to Yu-Gi-Oh and both O’Rion and Eric were super helpful in pointing me in the right direction. They have a good selection of new and old stuff especially in the used/card repack section. They even went so far as to open a few small display case packs to see what I would be buying instead of completely guessing from just the top most visible card. The prices are more than fair and they really do care about the customer’s satisfaction. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure! Thank you guys!”
