Asked if they had time for an alignment started explaining the place I was at had their machine blow a piston as I showed up for my appointment. I was the cut off by him and told to keep crying because I’m not going to find anything today and that I need to get on someone’s books instead of calling around. Overall pretty rude I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as it seems they are comfortable being rude to people on the phone looking to pay for service.

Four years ago I use to go here regularly for car repair. If I was rating them back then I’d give them a four. They did a quality job but maybe were a little bit more expensive than local shops. I went in the other day to have a serpentine belt replaced with a pulley. They quoted me at $600. I know the median price for that repair is around $200 give or take. I refused service and they wanted $35 just to look at it! Today I went down the road and had another shop do the job for under $200. Sebago Lake wanted 3X what it was worth. I was in a bind and I honestly would have been happy if they did it for $400. It’s not hard to see why it’s easy to fit on their schedule. Look past the air of legitimacy. When you charge 3X what something is worth you are running a scam. Maybe you guys should sell used cars exclusively and people will then know what to expect.

They wanted $2000 for work I had done elsewhere for $945. Exactly the same work. I got a quote from a third party for about $1000. I know Sebago Lake Automotive does good work but the cost is not competitive.

Mitch and team did a great job on some major repairs on my Ford Super Duty recently. All systems worked great when done including all the lights, locks and other stuff controlled by the Body Control Module. This required prgramming the new module to work with my truck and existing keys.

My parents take their vehicle here so I gave it a try. From the first phone call they were friendly and helpful. Made an appt for an inspection, an oil change and a general checkup. All maintenance was performed as promised and within the time it was promised. Best part was the very reasonable price!! That's a lie. The best part was the friendly service!! Think I'll keep my old car just so I can go back.

My husband had my car detailed for my birthday, and the team at Sebago Lake Automotive did a fantastic job! Courteous, on-time, and it's like having a new car. Highly recommend the experience with them.
