Make sure you get the insurance! Guys were careless with most of my stuff. Broke my $500 flat screen and scuffed up the side of my leather sofa by sliding it across a concrete floor with nothing under it. Complete negligence. Owner washed his hands of it. Hi, you suggest buying any insurance if you use these guys. Highly suggest buying any insurance if you use these guys. Accidentally breaking a TV is one thing but it’s just plain ignorance dragging a leather sofa across a concrete floor. I also added the removal of the TVs last minute and a few additional items. My estimate went from $600 prior to the move. After the move was complete, I received a bill for an additional $300+. Cost me over $900 to replace the items they ruined.

I had selected the option to have additional helpers and was very impressed with the 3 gentleman that showed up. They were incredibly hard working and efficient. Pricing was fair, and none of my items were damaged. I would use and recommend Liberty again.

Our recent move was smooth and uncomplicated with the help of LIberty Bell Moving and their workers Caleb and Trevor. Caleb and Trevor were courteous, polite, respectful of our concerns and wishes and most of all hard working and careful. Additionally, the costs were reasonable, explained clearly and the final bill was as expected. I wholeheartedly recommend Liberty Bell Moving (and storage).

Witnesses their driver buy 3 fireball nips and a 20oz redbull at the mobile in Gorham he then goes outside walks to the gas pumps and drank the nips throwing them away in the trash can then proceeds to get in the drivers seat and drive the box truck all of this before 7AM
Edit: This is just to good you hit the bridge 1 month after my review hmmm wonder how it happened

Liberty Bell exceeded my expectations on move in day. The 2 men who came to help move me into a 3rd floor apartment were friendly, positive, and upbeat the entire duration of the move. I apologized in advance for the 3 flights of stairs, but they accepted the challenge, had a great sense of humor, and never wavered in their positivity and professionalism. I am so thankful to the 2 men who helped me move and to Liberty Bell's service as a whole. They were extremely responsive, very professional, and took great care in their communication and the way they handled my belongings. Thank you Liberty Bell! I will let you know when I am moving next! :)

Thank you the move started out being stressful in trying to get ready due to time constraints but the crew came in and were very good about getting packed up and taking care of everything. Delivery of everything was great and everything was delivered on time. I worried how this would go but was pleased and thankful that it went so well. Thanks again.

This was by far the most affordable moving company in my area. A 3 man crew moved a 1 br house worth of furniture into storage in 2.5 hours (quoted 2 hours but I knew that was an estimate). On site crew was friendly and professional.
The only downsides were timeliness- they rescheduled from 8 to 11 and didn't arrive until 1:15, which would have been fine if they had communicated it earlier but was nerve-wracking not hearing back- and they didn't really organize the storage unit well so i will have to go reorganize it, but i also wasn't there to direct them as i had to watch the door. I did have two pieces of furniture get broken, one which was not their fault (old poorly made piece) and the other which I think I can fix, was just chipped.

The three men worked very hard and efficiently to move my things out of the apartment into a storage unit. It was one of the hottest days we've had so far this year and they never stopped. They were polite and respectful of my belongings. I won't hesitate to hire them when I'm ready to move to my next place. Thank you Liberty Bell Moving & Storage.

***I highly suggest to STAY AWAY from Liberty Bell Moving & Storage.***This company uses deceptive trade practices and cares more about being “right” than keeping customers happy.In the contract, they tell you they can add a 3rd mover at their discretion and that adding a 3rd person at your expense will work out as the same, but it actually doesn’t because they charge you an hourly rate for 3 movers not just for loading and unloading of the items, but also for riding in the truck. Meanwhile, in the initial estimate email they’ll tell you they will use 2 movers.They write out how the hourly charge is applied in the middle of a lengthy email but fail to include such info in the actual (also lengthy) contract that is to be signed. The flat travel fee does NOT include time traveling from your 1st move site to the 2nd one. Instead, you are charged an hourly rate for 2 movers, or 3 if they decide they want to add another at their “discretion”.Their Better Business Bureau rating is a C+They expect you to provide a week notice to change or cancel a move; otherwise you lose your deposit which includes the travel fee plus 2 hours of move time with 2 movers; it doesn’t matter whether the change is outside your control.Their response to bad reviews is highly unprofessional. Instead of trying to resolve the complaint, the owner calls people names (“idiot”, “moron”, etc.) or dismisses it by saying it’s a fake review.There was a recent lawsuit against them for unlawfully threatening to sue or charge people for posting bad reviews, trying to site “defamation of character” (Yelp warns people of this).They are essentially company-centric, not customer-centric.They’ll be responsive and agreeable to get your business, but then will already have your credit card info on file to charge you how they see fit, even if you disagree or try to resolve a contested invoice.They have no interest in providing a win-win situation for their customers.I wish I had done a more thorough investigation into Liberty Bell Moving & Storage before hiring them. If I had, I would not have hired them. Hopefully this review saves others from having a similar costly and stressful experience that I ended up having with this company.

I have used this company more than once. Compared to other moving companies, Liberty Bell Moving has had availability quicker than others which is important when a need to move has a timeline.Each time, the movers have been professional and have gone above and beyond to make me happy and the move successful. I will continue to use this company and recommend to others. I am an extremely happy customer!
