“Ed’s was recommended to me by my mechanic for rust repair. They replaced my rocker panels on both sides and did a perfect job for an incredibly fair price and in a day and a half! Ed and his son are not only knowledgeable but are extremely nice people as well so I was happy for the opportunity to support their business. They even washed my car, polished my headlights and shined my tires for free! I love these guys and would absolutely use them in the future.”
“I was told about the "fancy light show," but let me assure you, there is no fancy light show whatsoever. Just some flashing red, green, and blue. I felt like I was getting pulled over by the police at Christmastime in a foamy storm. Find your light show somewhere else, people. Thankfully, they don't actually advertise a fancy light show. The wash itself was serviceable.”

“This car wash is a gem ! For years I have used the Daigle Oil Company carwash in Madawaska and Never, not once was I satisfied with the end results. I don't know if you have more water pressure than DOC'S but your car wash is as close to hand washing as it gets ! Very impressed and plan to utilize it each time I'm in your area. Thank you for a job well done!”

“My sister uses this place a lot and I've come to use it myself also. It is an automated car wash with no person directly on hand.Simple enough to use and has three options for cleaning.It is set on a busy intersection which can be a bit of a pain depending on which way you are going after you are done.However, the traffic does move fast enough so you should not have a huge issue with it.It is near a lot of other places which helps when you are in a rush and need to grab a quick rinse between errands.They have a cloth vending machine there for those that want to get that extra dry on their car but don't bring their own cloth. The wieners office seems to be directly behind the car wash so if you have an issue you can go right over and have it addressed.The whole process is videotaped so there should be a record of something happening if it happens.All in all, it is a decent cost-effective option for a car wash if you are in the area and want to try some fully automated.”

“This gas station has the best automatic car wash in the greater Portland area. I used to go to Scrub-a-Dub but my car always had more scratches on it after being washed there. Ever since I started washing it here, there have been no additional scratches on it. It also seems to do a better job than the one at Irving (Cash Corner) or the one on Broadway across from the bowling alley, which is super fancy but always leaves parts of the car dirty and applies way too much wax. The simple, unassuming car wash at Big Apple cleans thoroughly, doesn't scratch, and doesn't over-apply wax. What more could you want?”

“After a 3,000 mile journey we stopped to clear off a multitude of bugs. The attendant spent several minutes soaking and scrubbing our car to perfection. He was very gentle with our car and I could tell he took pride in his work. We highly recommend this hidden gem.”
