(December 4th 2024) - While I can’t fault some of the employees for the procedures of Bank of America without a single shred of doubt that the employees manager’s branch managers and anybody else that works at this location Absolutely despises there existence in life. And have made it their life’s mission, to pass alone the Inconvenience doubt, frustrations, bad attitude / vibes onto you. The customer… ( Of whom has free choice and free will to NOT Repeatedly punch yourself in the stomach over and over With the headache and inconvenience of banking here ) And if that doesn’t bother you, then I say sure it’s fine. But just know my 2 stars is generous. Very very very generous, like basically a gimmie generous. So, If I were you, I would avoid that.
* But on the bright side, the walk in 24hr blockade ATM is convenient…. When the door works lol *

Today Feb 3 2024. I have traveled two and a half hours to this branch between 10:00 - 10:15 because I had an emergency in which I just wanted to get some wire transfer instructions but none of the officials had time to to give. There were 3 officials but 0 customers but still they wanted me to do an appointment. I have requested them again and again but they were very rude to me. I have been with Bank of America for 8 years now and this was my worst experience ever.

BANK OF AMERICA really lock me out of my own account and there a two hour ride away from me where i live and i need my own funds so tired of this bank this how they treat a loyal customer that been with them for years wow how disappointing

Ellen is incredibly unprofessional and incompetent. Went in and asked about a Venmo transaction that Bank of America declined. I attempted to process a $1,250 transaction, and BofA declined it without reason. I verified the transaction was mine, but she could not explain anything about why it was declined or how to handle it. Her response was “I have no idea about Venmo”. I explained that Bank of America declined the transaction. The response was that I should call the number on the back of my debit card, which I had just moments before explained that I don’t have with me. Can’t believe I still do business with this company. AWFUL experience. I have a last minute flight in 3 hours, and don’t have time for this. Absolutely DO NOT do business with this branch.

I was able to move a very small amount of money to my savings account, & close out the low balance account over the phone.

Do not bank here. If your relatives bank here, encourage them to go elsewhere. I am settling my fathers estate and am legally the representative. Every type of account has a different offsite department. You will be faxing the same documents over and over again, waiting ten business days, and the department you needed still won’t have the documents. Even with legal paperwork the branch cannot tell you a single balance or ANY account information. Even after paperwork has been reviewed by the proper departments, the branch will not be able to help you at all. Camden Bank, Fidelity Investments, all his other accounts were so easy to settle but Bank of America has made grieving and trying to settle an estate absolute hell on earth. If you like sitting on hold for twenty minutes then being told they can’t help you, then by all means Bank here. If you don’t like wasting precious hours of your life, go elsewhere.

Drove to this branch for 1 hour to deposit just to know that they “don’t have teller”. The first bank I have ever been without a teller. Better to close this branch than wasting customers time and effort.

Closed on a business day for absolutely no reason. Location in Westbrook is closed as well. Why? You're a bank, you are supposed to be open for...ya know... bankers hours! Plus Bank of America is the only bank I know of that puts REALLY long wait times on check deposits.

The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. The call center BOA has to correct the misfortunes of poorly trained account managers sounds as frustrated as many customers. In my experience it was simply the perils of starting up a new account. Steven, in this branch was nice enough, but inept in their own process. Don’t try to set anything up online, but Only in person. Sub amoebic single cell organisms could do a better job knowing BOA policies. If you can, take other’s advice and avoid this branch at all costs.
