Excellent and inconspicuous general store filled with delights. Great fresh baked goods, good lunch food amazing groceries and produce, and cool household items. A real gem.

I heard about the pizza! I was so excited I forgot to take a pic first! Pepperoni, kale, and garlic. Dang good! Aaaaaaand then I saw the cookies. Soooooo one of each. I'll be back!

This place is so unique it makes other unique places seem like a chain! But honestly, all of its great, employees are super friendly, the food is amazing. All around great experience, pop in for a visit.
Sheepscot General is a one-of-a-kind, country store situated on a working farm in beautiful Whitefield, Maine.
At Sheepscot general, the former Uncas Farm dairy barn houses a full line of groceries and cafe. A unique inventory of natural, organic and local products has evolved over the years to satisfy many tastes and curiosity. We offer an assortment of sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods and daily specials at the counter. Friday nights we turn up the ovens and crank out a thin-crust pizza worthy of a trip.
We grow a diversity of MOFGA certified organic produce and strawberries. We make Maple syrup, hay, and we manage an apple orchard. all of the farm’s products are offered at the store.
We are open year-round but always closed on Mon.
